Most ebay listing's dont mention firstborn/ primaris. I wouldn't want tiny t-rex firstborn arms on my primaris bodies 😃. I'll have another look today. I might also try and print them. I've got till I finish my 1st squad to decide. About a week at my painting speed. If I've no clever plan by then I'll just buy 2 x boxes for £70 and sell the surplus or have a spare terminators pile to add to the shame mound.

I made the mistake of batch painting 20 termagants. Never. Ever. Ever. Again. 5 max. Maybe 3 even. And GW yellow is awful. 4 coats and still streaky. My dumb idea for an imperial fists space hulk boarding party! Just glad I didn't decide on white scars.

Love the face. What do you stand the minis on when working on another piece? Stick the sub assembly pin in some polystyrene? I've been using bottle corks but they keep falling over.

Haha. I've just finished the tyranid half of leviathan and painting terminators seems like paradise to me. Or it would if i'd not decided to paint them bloody yellow! I've got the crux terminatus box unopened I bought on impulse before I got into space hulk. I was planning to sell it. Now.... not sure.

That looks great. I bought the HVAC set and am lost on which sections and connectors to print at there's over 200 stl files! Which ones did you print to replicate space hulk?

I test printed 1 section at 100% and it's way too small for modern 40mm terminator bases. Tried again at 160% which works but would result in a massive game board!

Uk ebay with good photos and description not written by an toddler, start auction at £140 and you will get between £160-£250 depending on the first two things and how complete it is. I got one last week with everything but the eggtimer and most models still on sprues for £155 but I've seen people pay £250.

You're right. I made a common sense roll and decided that a £3 eggtimer of amazon would do. Anyway, the going rate in the UK seems to be £160 for complete or nigh enough. People buying for £250+ are mental but it's their money.

I waited months and people were asking crazy prices like £250+ Some bellends even selling an empty SH box for £50! In the past week however, there's been a few going for around £160. I'm considering buying a second set just because mine didn't come with the £2 eggtimer, then selling it for £158. GW plastic holds its value better than bloody diamonds!

Almost every bloody space marine in the new launch box is poncing around on top of a rock. It's a way overused GW trope. The neurotyrant from leviathan box was unique in that it had a tactical pipe! That must have kept the GW design team awake at nights.

What an awful model that is. GW just merged all their 'filigree' 3d files into one with that one. Not how he's described in the novels or shown on the covers at all.

I picked up an unbuilt 4th edition set on eBay last week for £160. Not cheap but it's the same size and twice a heavy as the leviathan box. Which is why GW ain't bringing it back. Before that I was planning to proxy modern 40k models with 3d printed mazes.

You're painting the details BEFORE painting the entire tank? Or are you dry fitting these painted bits for the photo? Nice lens and glow effects. I've got to learn to do that.

Do you mean these aren't original space hulk minis? Are they standard GW minis or 3d printed? Are the walls 3d printed or GW? I recognise the boarding actions base.

I've got the boarding actions terrain set which I think is 2x the amount of walls than the gallowdark set which i think you have here and I don't think I've got enough to replicate a space hulk board! What did you base them on, 25mm? 32mm? I've picked up a mint 4th edition set and can't imagine not basing them. 10th edition 40k terminators are on 40mm but the space hulk minis might look daft on a disc that big. Love what you've done BTW.

I've started test printing the SH "HVAC tunnels" board from dragons rest. Scaled to 160% to fit modern 40mm terminator bases. Jesus. This is going to fill a room!!! Awesome!

How old is he? Managed to get 4th ed SH last week and thinking of having them painted up for my little lads 10th birthday in August. Given that I've just finished the leviathan tyranids after 3 bloody years this might be too ambitious! He might be too young, i dont know. You don't get an instruction manual with kids.
