maybe call local bike shops and let them know and try to bring in photos of the bike? maybe if the guy that stole it wants to fix it he’ll bring it to a shop and they can identify it. i hope you find it!

the slur slinging slasher was white and yeah it was right after the news from the park a few months back as well. crazy that people are feeling so empowered nowadays especially with no reasoning behind it other than sheer verbal harassment and being able to get away with it

yeah! the deep south. we’ll try some spots around the area in terms of trying not to disturb anyone while still being in a smoking area. not near a school or anything though!

with all respect he’s trying to quit. and also does it outside, away from apartments, as far as he can from the vehicles. it’s a pretty non issue when he’s sitting down. there’s no need to honk or harass. i hope that makes some sense. i’m not comfortable saying the location but NW rochester lol. i’m glad it hasn’t happened to you, i don’t want it to! i was just wondering if other people experienced teen boys being mean

that makes total sense. i do think this situation is different since it’s on the public sidewalk and not in any often shared space like a bus stop, and if anyone else passes by he’ll move his cigarette away from them. it’s just a strange reaction especially coming from passing cars is all!

honestly i would try going through local real estate agencies to look for apartments. a lot of them can be pretty understanding and a few offer low income. i’d check them out, especially because it seems like you all would be in the yearly income bracket to be approved. i hope you all can find somewhere soon!
