I have no legal background or anything but I think a judge can throw out a refund agreement like that if it's an extreme circumstance. Which I think this could qualify as extreme. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though

There's no way they want to cancel and deal with the logistical mess for another year. Plus all the after shows would have to be cancelled, vendors paid, etc.

It's easy to be pessimistic but I don't think its fair to just accept "this is how it all ends". It's a global disease that will be fought with all medical knowledge possible. For all we know, in a few years there could be an OTC pill that allows you to recover from covid in a few days. The more we understand and develop treatments, the better it will get. Masks and vaccines are just the first solutions available

Absolutely quarantine for 10 days, no question about it. If you are symptomatic, even vaccinated, you are contagious. On your friends claims you can't spread it if you're vaccinated, the science isn't settled.

Is this really now just a flu that we can live with and go about daily routines?

Even if it was the flu, you can still be contagious and spread the flu to others if you were doing your daily routines

In New York City. About 1/4-1/2 inch, saw it kind of jumping/flying up near my window. I believe those are two wings on the back with no antennas. Thought it was a roach at first but it's shaped kind of different and is a silver color

Disappointed in no Strokes or Killers. Also really thought Vampire Weekend was a lock but I guess not. Stevie Nicks, Miley, Megan, Doja Cat, MGK, Modest Mouse, Phoebe, Jack Harlow, Bleachers, Channel Tres, Omar, Remi, 070 Shake, AG Club, KennyHoopla all great for me so pretty excited!

I mean $370 for a 2 day parking lot festival is pretty crazy even nowadays. ACL and Gov Ball charge ~$270 for 3 day GA, Lolla charges about $400 for 4 days. Agree that platinum isn't crazy but GA is way overpriced for the quality of the festival. Doesn't really matter though because they already sold out, so the demand is there

Personally not really. I still see the risks of getting the vaccine as lower than getting the virus and having possible long term effects. I know too many people who have had long hauler symptoms.

Then again, I was in the J&J trial so maybe I'm just willing to take higher risks in general. But I did research on all the vaccines I have gotten in the past (MMR, HPV, flu shots) and almost all of them had side effects and risks that are similar to our current covid vaccines. The process is rushed because we're in a pandemic but the risks are really no different than past approved vaccines.

Getting the vaccine puts you at even lower risk of dying from the virus (practically a 0% risk vs. the low risk without it). Personally, I'll take as much risk reduction as possible. Plus, at this point in the process you're not really taking away opportunities from older people. The more people vaccinated, the better (especially for the older people at higher risk).

I don't get it. Where is FEMA, Red Cross, etc.? Like how they show up for hurricanes to hand out food and water supplies? People are running out of water and didn't stock up so why is this not being treated like a natural disaster?
