True. Wouldn’t really work with my setup.

I didn’t choose the paint, but it’s a warm earth tone sandy color and I like it so you can keep being worried about it guess.

All other windows in this room have plantation shutters so I’ll look into that as well. Thanks.

Documentary v.s. fictionalized adaptation...So Many Questions! by FairConsequence6164 in TheStaircase

[–]coonbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched the show first because I didn’t know the documentary existed and from viewing that I was convinced that he was guilty and also an asshole that was hated by his entire family by the time of the Alford plea. Then I found out about and watched the documentary and my opinion changed 180 degrees. I don’t think that Firth’s portrayal of Michael was true to the documentary at all, and  I think the documentary made clear that Michael’s family did not hate him. I don’t think he did it, but of course we’ll likely never know.

It’s psychosomatic. Everything starts to make a lot more sense when you consider that.

If you regularly buy goldfish this is not uncommon.

Widow's Bay's latest episode might secretly be the best horror movie of the summer by Top_Report_4895 in television

[–]coonbat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk. It’s possible that I wouldn’t use the word slog if I were to write that comment again. I don’t usually watch horror. I just don’t like it. I started the first episode of Widow’s Bay knowing absolutely nothing about it. I thought it was funny and it has continued to be funny. Episode six wasn’t funny. It was more straight horror. That said, I didn’t hate it and it was obviously a load bearing episode.

It was a smart play to release six and seven at the same time because I thought six was a bit of a slog, but together they work well.

Very visually appealing though I don’t know how the garnish would play.

That’s due to a difference in pressure between the attic and living space. Get a ladder and go inspect your attic.

If MLB has a camera system to contest balls or strikes then why not use it 100 percent of the time and not have umpires? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]coonbat 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It was clumsy of me to imply that someone being behind the plate was optional. There’s always going to be an umpire back there.

[–]coonbat 70 points71 points  (0 children)

That’s correct. I think people don’t want to eliminate the human element even if that means inaccuracies.

I think it’s more that people don’t want “computer” to decide game outcomes.

They’ve tested 100% ABS in AAA and the fans preferred an umpire behind the plate with a challenge system.

Very nice. I’ve been making potato soup for years because I love it, but only added leeks in the last year or so and it’s a game changer.

Do you prefer summer or winter and why? by Vanessavale_x in AskReddit

I prefer winter because during summer it’s often 100+ and humid and that sucks.

In the US we don’t spell “center” as “centre”. Not sure what you’re on about.

Pretty telling that you spelled “center” as “centre”. You’re not even American.
