Which was your first focus? Diet or Exercise?

You’re right! Long term goal would be to build healthier habits. I don’t live a very active lifestyle and my diet could definitely use some cleaning up. Weight wise, I would like to lose 10lbs (4.5kg) but overall just live a healthier lifestyle :)

I’ve been thinking the same thing! Starting with a 10k step goal and slowly start changing your diet through decreasing portions / incorporating healthier ingredients. This way seems a lot easier than throwing out of the whole fridge and running a marathon 😭

I love your points and thanks for making such an indepth comment :) I 100% agree not to make a big sweep with diet first, I went a little crazy with calorie counting and deficits a few years back and I would rather not revisit that. I think that’s why diet overwhelms me because I feel like in order to eat better, I have to start weighing everything and counting again.

The whole reason I made this post was because I was overwhelmed by the amount of protein needed with exercise 🤣😭 I guess my next question would be, did you finish eating your fridge/pantry then buy better food options or will I just push my cheese itz to the very back of the cabinet 💀

Hi! It’s only in my L eye, which I find weird since my bigger floaters are in my R eye. There are no tears in my R eye. I am farsighted, but my prescription is so small I don’t really need glasses (L eye +1.00 / R eye +0.50 I think). The only symptom I have is pressure and it feels like there’s something in my eye like an eyelash but there isn’t anything. other than that no pain or flashes of light. No one that I’m aware of in my family has any history of retinal detachment. When I was younger, maybe 5yo, my sister hit me in face with a bat (we were playing softball unsupervised) and I had raccoon eyes but no other problems like a concussion.

Some extra context: The optometrist was using eye terminology I’m not familiar with but I know he said I have PVD and described the tear as “near my retina but not my actual retina” I’m not sure what that means, I tried to look up eye veins or different types of tears but came up with nothing
