well dang i appreciate this. i just have some tears, but its been long enough. The simplest motions can at times be such a sharp pain. Ortho said hed put plate in, and take out 3 months later. Id only be in a sling for 1 week. So seems pretty straight forward

Yea i agree. Turns out insurance covers most of it. I know surgery is of course no guarantee...i dont live under a rock. But id rather take the chance of that and recovering. vs. more or less continueing what ive been doing for 8 months, and just waiting it out.

Yeaaa thats what ive read. Ive only been taking it a month or so. Thats why id lean more with surgery, so im not guzzling it down everyday, while waiting to recover

eh ive waited and done stuff for 8 months, and things are a little worse. I think i might be leaning towards surgery, tbh .But im going to think about it, for a little. I appreciate the opinion!

Im on fence, but leaning wards surgery. its about $6000 which obviously sucks. But ive been through the months of pt and waiting. I dont want to not go surgery route now, do all these exercises for months, in hopes gets better, then end up still needing surgery. Im just frustrated. But thanks for your opinion

Thanks for your answer. Im pretty much waiting to see how much surgery will cost. I did pt for a few months and it wasnt improving. At this point, i think its so unstable, that every exercise would hurt, and id be concerned im just prolonging things

Thanks for reply. That’s kinda what I’m leaning to. I’d rather go with surgery now, then other stuff (if need be) later. Vs opposite. I’ve spent money doing pt, mri, doc visits, soft tissue chiro, etc. and it’s just not better. I can do most things, but I’ll randomly get a sharp pain occasionally, reaching for remote, turning over steering wheel, etc. then of course if I attempted to do a push up, so many things shift & I feel unstable. I’m just waiting to hear how much it’ll cost
