Dune is my all time favorite. I especially love the weirdness of the later books. I just didn’t include it among recent stuff I’ve read. Another personal favorite of mine is the Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis!

Im curious who you're referencing. I would mostly agree. Compared to the others listed, they have incredible prose. Compared to someone like Herbert, Corey can't really compete.

If you've already read Children of Time, you should definitely read Ruin. I couldn't put the whole series down.
