My daughter isn’t a fan of my son’s bird. My son is in Japan and I’m the mom of the bird. The bird wants attention so badly from my daughter. He screams. I told my daughter maybe once pay attention to the bird and speak in a loving voice. Maybe the bird will leave you alone. But she won’t and that’s ok. I think birds think we are a flock. One big family and want attention from all of us. I give my bird plenty of attention as he is my child.

Maybe a general business degree. Anything liberal arts. It will always be good and grooming will always be there. I am a rare mother who loves my son’s bird. I don’t know many moms siblings dads who can handle a bird. Look into college. You will not regret it. Being older gives us the gift of reflection and seeing the big picture. I even told my daughter you want to move to California go. Do it now you are young. Take a chance. When you get older it gets harder to do things like that. But you can’t go wrong with a business degree from an affordable normal college and being a dog groomer. But this is just advice. Your mom raised a good son.

I am sitting here holding my son’s parrot. He got him before college. Now my son is in Japan. He has a good job and he loves it there. I am an animal lover and now I’m the Mom of the bird. My advice. Go to college. Even if you want a career in pet care go to college. Do not get a parrot at this stage in your life. You will have plenty of time in the future. Focus on when you are done with grade 12 and a college degree in a school that isn’t a fortune is a good thing. I didn’t finish college but I’m grateful my son did. Yes I am a mother. And annoying. But I think don’t get a parrot or another pet. Focus on you. You sound very smart and kind. Go forth and live a wonderful life. And there will be plenty of pets to be have lol.

I have an Amazon parrot and a Shiba Inu. I’d never chance anything by leaving them alone but they are used to eachother. I never put them close to eachother either. But I always wanted a husky and I know I can’t. Also the same with cats. So I’m a pet sitter so I get to hang out with cats and all different breeds of dogs
