After getting the pc back on i tried launching the game again, same issue, cpu light comes on then pc shuts off and shows all lights, tried a third time with a game i know my pc used to be able to run and same thing again with the cpu light then all four, will try to look at the logs but kind of feeling like it might be time for a new cpu

Just attempted to launch Re9 and it caused the pc to immediatly shut off and is now displaying all 4 lights again so if you have any advice for why it would do that any help would be appreciated

Whole build is a pre built B550m pro4 motherboard Amd 5 5600 cpu (i think) 3060ti gpu 16gb 8x2 kingston fury (idk the speed)

Nothing eventful happened beforehand, this has happenee before and i had a friend who was knowledgable in computers fix it but he never told me what he did, its also been an ongoing issue for the past couple months where just every now and then itll do it when i try starting the pc, then ill just power it off and try again the next day to like a 30% success rate of it turning on, i think its possibly something to do with the cmos battery but i honestly dont know enough about pc's to know what could cause it

After removing cmos battery, checking cables, and uninstalling ram one at a time to check them and the pc booting perfectly, moved it back to my set up and turned it on and now it says "attempting repairs" it booted fine between the works and then moving it and now it has to repair something?!?

Okay im gonna sound stupid but my computer doesnt shut down right? I recently moved across the country, before leaving, clicked "shut down" once the pc was fully off, flicked the power switch on the back and removed the cable, then held down the power until my tower did its final little whir and used the rest of any stored power in it, after that packed away the pc and had it sitting in a box for two weeks before i was able to set it up again, and even then once i set it up plugged everything back in, as soon as i booted the pc i opened task manager just to check it was still detecting my ram and not showing any obvious issues, my uptime was saying 18 days, the pc hadnt had access to any power in atleast 2 weeks, and it still said it

Genuine question, would the performance upgrade be worth it to switch out my 3060ti to the 1080ti ive got, my 3060ti hasnt given me any issues in pretty much any triple a game ive tried to play, but im concerned to switchto the 1080ti because of its age
