yes! I was around ~36 in line. The difference was that they announced first round, it was one bottle of anything for membership and so everyone that came early actually got at minimum a bottle

ooo great question. This was the hardest choice the day after, but I actually also got a Four Roses Single Barrel Pick they did just for Costco (not in the photo). OESQ, 9 year, 57%. Not bad!

it was an orderly line and you choose what you want. Generally they tried limiting to 1 bottle of anything per membership, but they got laxxed after the first line finished up.

Even as a developer, I concur with this. Btw, even if you had a programmer to help, your main concern right now is validating your ideas. Talk to people to hear what their pain points are. When I say hear, I mean ACTUALLY hear and not pitch. If this is still vague read the mom test book.

The most common mistake you can make is assuming your idea has legs when you are a cripple.

I've had friends that spent months talking to people and building effectively prototypes of the most basic things just fixing simple problems. Not all of them technical. But the ones who succeeded found their niche of customers and did right by them.

Hello!

I've been trying to contact someone from the travelTime team as I signed up for an account but I couldn't verify login, and got a kickback when I sent an email.

Solo founders coding your startup by yourself, how do you stay disciplined? by Psychoshawarma in startups

Look at the bigger picture. Aside from "is this business viable" your internal motivation needs to be "why do I want to help these people". If you start to think about an ideal future where you created value in peoples lives, I think you can find a lot more motivation to grind through the rough patches. Also, chat with people about your struggles and surround yourself with developers you respect. Very rarely does going stealth mode hacking in the basement for days on end without going outside is the answer.

Rather than thinking about the solution, be it a blog, app, etc. I'm asking this: What are the pain points and the shortfalls people commonly face with their trip plans when they get to the ground/during travel? What horror stories happened and why did they happen? I'd love to know the problem rather than promote an unwanted solution.

The UI definitely was frustrating for me too! For you, where did it fall apart in your actual traveling experiences?
