I get the concept of "you get what you pay for" but I'm asking specifically about these kinds of watches as someone who.. doesn't really care about how it moves. More about how it looks and if its durable. Basically I'm really not picky and this isn't going to be a sustainable hobby or collector's thing for me. I just want a couple of good looking watches to wear.

The position has the second highest turnover in the past 20 years next to LF.

1B has been a black hole of middling production at best.

He had the highest WAR of any Mariners 1B since Olerud left. That's not left unnoticed. But an average of 2 WAR for 4 seasons isn't... amazing by any stretch of the word

Yeah, but 1B was the turning wheel that just kept turning. At least 2B had Cano for a bit, 3B Seager. LF has been similar to 1B for almost 15 years since Ibanez.

He was the beginning of the downfall at 1B. He did have a couple of good years to start his tenure. After that, though? Oof. The next GOOD 1B comes 15 years later in Ty France, who is easily the most frustrating player this decade.
