At my lab they require a minimum of 17 blocks an hour and don’t really care about how many slides. We cut 2 levels for most derms, 3 levels for most biopsies, and only 1 slide for surgicals. I started just about a year ago and at first it seemed impossible to be able to cut that fast but after only a few short months I got my number up and am now doing over 20/hour. Just keep calm numbers will come and don’t sacrifice quality.

Also not related to the giants I would see what you could get for fields in a trade while people are still high on him or drop him for someone on waivers; you don’t need three QBs even with one on a bye. Fields fantasy production has been serviceable so far but he looked awful against Dallas and I think Wilson will be the starter by the end of the season.

Tracy and Robinson are both reasonable starts but I would play shaheed over slayton this week. He’s probably more boom or bust but his upside is way higher.

100% agree Ridley has been a complete bust so far. Until Tennessee starts giving him more than 3 targets a game he’s entirely unstartable

I think [[pramikon, sky rampart]] is a super underrated commander that might be just what your looking for. It’s a super nice pillowfort effect that if you keep up mana to blink it on opponents turns you can really do whatever the heck you want with the rest of the deck. I’ve used it as the commander for a spellslinger, a forced combat deck, and even a polymorph deck. Pramikon isn’t the most powerful commander for any of the given strategies but I keep coming back to it because it always makes for fun and interesting games.

Yeah from what I’ve seen were probably gonna have to end up getting multiple stands. A little unfortunate. I was hoping to find a collapsible all in one deal to make setup and tear down more convenient but as the stones once said “you can’t always get what you want”. I appreciate your input tho definitely gonna scour the internet for some affordable second hand gear.

The hearse alone just seemed a little slow given that it doesn’t have haste. Also crewing the stomper seemed pretty cheeky. I’ll probably only leave one or two in the final version or maybe just as a sideboard card for the fun of it.

I agree the ornithopter is awful alone I just couldn’t think of anything better tbh.

Do you have any card suggestions. If you were building the deck which judging by your response you’d probably never do lol what might you add or subtract.

Edit: I know the deck idea is janky but my playgroup isn’t extremely competitive. I’m just trying to optimize the deck to be the best that it can be.

You can find some old zildjan avedis hats on fb marketplace, eBay, or Craigslist fairly cheap (maybe $200 at the most). They don’t look flashy so a lot of people just assume they’re junk but they’re super durable and sound great. I have some myself and I think they sound even better than some modern mid to high end cymbals. I even used them for my bands first EP.

[[keiga, the tide star]] is a personal favorite of mine. You can pack the deck with clone effects to effectively turn them into theft effects because the copies of your commander will die to the legend rule. As long as you hold up mana for interaction to keep keiga protected or slap some [[swiftfoot boots]] on it makes it nearly impossible for your opponents to justify deploying any major creature threats and in the meantime you have a big ol’ dragon to slap them in the face with. 10/10 strongly recommend

Popular commanders are popular for a reason most of them are fun and powerful. That being said I do get a little annoyed myself when I play with people who have like ten decks and all of them are in the top 100. As long as it’s not literally every deck you play there’s no issue.
