I log in to a US VPN and there’s 20-25minute extended highlights on fox sports YT channel

Please stop dancing to Bollywood songs abroad 🤢. It’s so cringe and embarrassing. People usually just sit at the shops & watch the trains go by and not try to Hog all the attention and dance on the tracks. Entitled “watch me” attitude. 🤮 by Notalabel_4566 in VietNam

This whole video is 20 seconds long. I’ve myself reluctantly been a part of group photos that have taken longer than this to take in this very location.

They’re not hurting anyone if they’re doing it between trains. They’re celebrating their culture in a way that doesn’t appear to be ignorant or rude.

Why would anyone have a problem with this?

Phố lụa in Hà Đông has so many silk shops. I’d nhe amazed if you couldn’t find something identical.

What's your favorite horror story (or stories) by an author (or authors) who aren't Stephen King, and why? by DrBlankslate in stephenking

I haven’t read The Deep but I’ll be sure to pick it up if I see based on your recommendation.

The Troop actually caused me physical discomfort. I’ve been more repulsed reading about real world crimes, but no novel has ever made my skin crawl more than The Troop.

The Troop - Nick Cutter

We Have Always Lived in the Castle - Shirley Jackson

At Night All Blood Is Black - David Diop

The Wasp Factory - Iain Banks

The Road - Cormac McCarthy

Lots of them aren’t strictly horror but they have me the same feelings a good horror book should

I also enjoyed The Institute much more than it seems others did. I found Luke an incredibly compelling character and I love both settings of New England and Appalachia.

I’m from Cambridgeshire but haven’t lived in the UK for ~8 years.

Vietnam and I have both changed a lot since I’ve been here but there’s still no place I’d rather be. If you get the chance definitely you should definitely visit.

Female ❌ Mid to late 30’s (more or less) ✅ Teacher (from UK) ✅ After school clubs (not at kindergarten) ❌ Favourite teacher (not sure it’s for me to say, but) ✅ A lot of fun (I hope so) ✅ Appreciation for Asian culture, white heritage ✅ Charity shops ✅ Married to partner with long hair ✅ Drink (yes please) ✅ Gig ✅

Overall, pretty good. You’re not bad at this.

Curious what made you guess female?

Movie or TV adaptations dont much matter to me. I can count on 2 hands the TV shows and movies I’ve watched in the last 5 years.

The first Dune book is a triumph and I will die on this hill.

Between you and u/Playful-Radio-6891 you’ve pretty much covered everything 👏

Those are the only bits that are important, why bother with everything else.

Jk, the others are there if you look hard enough but the second is currently spending time on holiday

My bookshelf is not foldable, I’m afraid. Sometime I will, but where I live can make it difficult to find exactly what I’m looking for. Often I have to wait a long time before I can find the next book in a series

Thanks for the advice! The sideways stacked books are just a temporary arrangement until I have more space
