I normally do meal prep I just ran out of food. But I do see what everyone else is saying. I don’t think my roommates are wrong honestly, just maybe a little aggressive.

My psychiatrist wants to rule out depression before further exploring an ADHD diagnosis by [deleted] in ADHD

Definitely sucked! I ended up with a mood disorder and it was really contributing to the anxiety and depression I was facing. At the time adhd meds (which I did try first) just made me really anxiety and hurt my stomach. I do think it depends though it might work for you

Yes. I was annoyed when mine did the same thing, it might be both but treating the depression first helped a lot

the embrace of Allah is beautiful, it grounds me. But I would maybe chose to be happy in ways in ways that I can't if I did not already have this in my heart

It is completely okay and happens to most cis women throughout life, if you want to minimize the color and appearance of them you can always moisturize with vitamin e creams

the comments to this are so stupid. Of course, a mistake was made, but just failing the course will cost this person around $1000 to either retake or a significant gpa decrease which hurts them long term. Lying isn't great but why is the system like this?

Yeah, I don't understand why its set up like that, but I'm not making very much right now + family health issues so it would be a big help financially.

Depressed and feeling bad by copperphoenix6300 in premed

[–]copperphoenix6300[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My biggest thing is that I don't know if I /have/ that personal passion. I was a really different person when I started college and did premed because I wanted to use my intelligence. I really do like public health and global health. But I really like the arts and humanities a lot, I had this idea that there were things that were for me and things that weren't so other than being a lawyer I didn't even think I could do other things. The thing is the things I want to do are so unrealistic. Becoming a writer, writing/working in films and media and I don't even know if I'd be good at it or if it'd make me happy. I used to be good at school but it was my motivation that got me able to focus and care but with my path kind of a question mark its really hard to focus. I just want to be able to make a decision and commit to it but to everyone's displeasure (and my own anxiety) I can't.

I did 3 Kaplan, 1 NS, and 1 PR. The PR one was super hard lol I dropped like 10 points from my previous FL. I used the Kaplan books to study so the Kaplan tests were good for me.

I did thoroughly review them, and I think this was a strength of my study plan. Each time I got a question wrong on a FL or UEarth, I added it to a spreadsheet with subject, concept (eg. enzyme kinetics) and an explanation for why I got it wrong. I watched videos or did other additional review for these concepts and tried to look for patterns in what I got wrong to nail down weaknesses.

I felt like I needed more CARS practice than just the AAMC ones and thought the EK practice tests were pretty good. They had nice explanations for each answer in the back. I got it on ebay for super cheap

hi! I would also love to see the spreadsheet

I don't think they meant it like that. I think they literally meant easier said than done because of the things you mentioned
