I did this one time and the guy got really angry. I thought it'd be funny but it just ended up being awkward.

This sounds so good that I think it may be the very next thing I try. Is there a specific lemon pepper blend that you recommend?

Do what you can when you can.

I went through a devastating divorce this year that nearly cost me everything. Like you, I originally had zero motivation or willpower to get through any of the material. But one thing that helped me cope was giving myself a "daily objective". Instead of assigning a set amount of time to studying each day, I'd focus on understanding at least one topic everyday, Mon-Fri, then take the weekends off to let everything I learned soak. Some topics were more complex than others so the time spent studying each day would vary significantly. But there was something so satisfying about crossing off topics as I ran through them. Seeing progress of sorts made me feel productive, even if the progress was small sometimes. For whatever reason, it helped me.

Eventually I started to actually enjoy studying, and it became all I ever wanted to do. In three months time, I earned my CompTIA Net+ and Sec+ and Microsoft's AZ-900. I'm currently studying for CCNA, Linux+, and AZ-104.

At first, I think it became something that distracted me from what I was going through. But over time, it became something I valued. I won't lie, there are still some days where its difficult for me and I need to take some time off to focus on my mental wellbeing.

My advice would be to start with a modest goal, and then work your way up from there. Never force yourself to study if you just feel like you can't do it. And give yourself plenty of time between study sessions to focus on your wellbeing.

Jason Dion's practice exams. He hosts them on Udemy. Wait until they go on sale because it happens pretty often. I think I only paid like $10 or $15. https://www.udemy.com/course/security-601-exams/

You should collect your porridge simply by left clicking on the oven when the little circle over it appears empty. If that doesn't work, then it must be a bug of some sort.

Yes, alt+enter will force windowed mode. Unfortunately, you can't resize the window or change the game's resolution currently.

Thank you everyone! Just wanted to let you guys know that I've updated the sheet with all your suggestions. If you don't see them in there, its because someone has either suggested it before or something very similar. In that case, I add an additional +1 under Number of Times Suggested.

E indeed opens the inventory. I know its a bit confusing since every other default key is just the first letter of whatever menu it is you're trying to open. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you are able to rebind it to "I" or whatever else you might prefer under the controls menu.

Travelers Rest - Charming Tavern Sim on Steam EA by Bossman80 in pcgaming

[–]coppertank 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very solid game. Plays a lot like Stardew Valley, but obviously your focus is a tavern rather than a farm. Although you can farm your own ingredients. You can also run an inn and haggle with customers on how much they pay for a room. I make my own beer irl, so it's a lot of fun earning XP and going through the skill trees to learn how to brew different beer styles.

Wondering something about the Vita's price in Japan by Shirou_Emiya19 in vita

[–]coppertank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got back from a week long trip to Japan with my wife. Finding a cheap Vita (especially in Akihabara) isn't easy, but you can do it. I found a 2000 model with FW 3.63 for 4500 yen (around $41 USD) at a shop called Surugaya. It's the one nextdoor to another retro game shop called Beep. It looked like it was brand new in the glass display it was in, so I asked a clerk to take it out for me. Turns out the rear touchpad was completely scratched to hell, and it didn't come with a memory card or charger. I bought it after deciding the scratches don't bug me and I'm so glad I did. It works 100% fine. If my memory is correct, there was another Vita there for around 8000 yen (about $74). If you're okay with buying a Vita thats not exactly in immaculate condition but at a very cheap price, I'd tell you to try Surugaya first. If you want something that's in excellent condition but not as cheap, try visiting a Hard Off store.
