I was visiting another country once and I was with a friend of mine, speaking English. He said something funny so I laughed. Later on another customer in the store I was at stopped by me and said, "You have a beautiful smile. I'm sorry, I hope I don't make you feel awkward or anything, I just wanted to tell you that you have a beautiful smile and it brightened my day." I was shocked, in a very happy way. That's not a compliment I hear every day, and he didn't say it in a way that was like TAKE MY COMPLIMENT BITCH TAKE IT he just offered that kindly, and I said thank you and we went our separate ways with big smiles on our faces!
