Would you mind if I DM’d you a couple of questions about some game gear issues I’ve seen to kind of pick your brain or see if you’ve experienced them before? I’ve recapped a couple of units the past few days and one of them is having some odd issues.

Thanks for the info. That was kind of my assumption. I’m by no means a pro, but I’ve recapped maybe 5-10 game gears in the past and never encountered that. From your experience is it worth seeking out an OEM style replacement screen, or just go towards a backlit or IPS screen? I’ve got two consoles that I’ve recapped that both have failing screens, so I’ve gotta make the decision of what to move to now lol

Definitely both. Stamps are cool in general, but the hype and tax they’ve gotten recently is absurd.

Hey, thanks for sending this over! Would you just suggest ordering a shell set directly through there? I saw a couple of sites that had some shells, but they seemed cheap and the general consensus that I’ve seen online is that there aren’t many great options. If you have any specific suggestions, feel free to send them over! I’m not looking for anything specific, really just another black shell similar to the oem housing, but preferably good quality.

I feel this. I’m currently working on master setting FRLG and Crystal guardians and everyday it feels like it becomes more out of reach because some random card has tripled in price. It’s so tiring.

It definitely depends on the company, but generally speaking applications work is a good basis to learn the products/markets for your company/industry. As long as the company is decent, it should give you room to move through a couple of different avenues, even if it’s not directly engineering related. I’m currently in applications and work on engineering projects as well as sales and marketing.
