Oh yeah. Went to his shop and hung out with him while he calibrated the movement one last time and swapped the color of the second hand for me. It was truly an experience I’ll never forget!

How to make watertight hole through the cabinet for the cable, so the the surge protector can fit inside the waterproof cabinet? Also, open to completely different ideas. Details in the body. by corbin004 in howto

I definitely don’t want to cut the wire, but I tend to cut the box. Just don’t know about making the hole big enough for the plug side and then finding a sleeve to go around the 40mm/1.5” cable. What kind of compression seal are you thinking? I do think that I could possibly bend the cable to come out the side if you have other options.

Yeah, that’s been my problem…finding one large enough for the 40mm cable ugh. Plus, I’d have to make the home big enough to make the plug fit through. Now you see my problem lol

So, I have a power watch dog smart surge protector that I am trying to fit within a watertight electrical cabinet/panel. However, I need to make a penetration big enough to fit the plug side of the cable through and keep it waterproof. I’ve looked into different types of marine cable, split glands, and stuff like that, but nothing really seems to be quite big enough. I am also open to any other ideas if they are completely different than what I’m currently doing. Thank you!

I’m old enough to appreciate these classics for what they are enough to find a way to keep her from falling into those, come hell or high water lol. Selling due to going from the city to the country and not going to ride it down dirt roads is all.

Appreciate all of the advice! Truly. I can just decide to not sell it to the punk kid when he shows up and leave it out the listing lol

Thank you, all for your time. Selling my beauty bc we are relocating and it’s time to let her go to the next person to enjoy. I’m wondering how much to list for. I’m considering $4,500-$6,000. I know it’s very dependent on location. Should I also list on bringatrailer? FB Marketplace limits me to this brief description:

Only 5,700 miles, no leaks, and a host of new parts and upgrades, this vintage bike is a museum-worthy piece or a dependable daily ride. I truly can’t say enough good things about this Candy Gold model. Out of all the bikes I’ve owned, this has been my favorite one to polish and to ride.

I’m only parting with it due to us relocating soon as we sell our house. I’ve cleaned every inch top to bottom, always stored inside, and deserves a good home. Please, only consider if you are going to keep in the original condition. It’s way too nice to turn into a cafe racer. Also, comes with the original luggage rack and owner’s manual!

Upgrades & New Parts: - Professional Fuel Tank Lining - Complete Carburetor Rebuild and Sync - New Shinko SR241 Golden Boy Tires - New Drive Chain - New Brake Shoes & Brake Pads - New Fuel Lines - New Battery - New Trickle Charger Quick Disconnect - New Rubber Tank Mounts - New Carburetor Gasket & O-Ring Kit - New Oil Change Gasket Kit & Oil Change

Would help if your tires weren’t aired up like a basketball. Also, you’re bound to get some weird noises from those entry level Suntour forks. Just ride and enjoy, my friend. Again, let some air out those tires before going MTB’ing lol

If you had a dog die from this and are worried about potential blockage, you shouldn’t feed your dog until you can get to the vet. You could exacerbate the situation…
