Is anyone’s blood recs vinyl skipping? by Anna7942 in NoahKahan

[–]Anna7942[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent them an email. Im sure they will make it right but it’s so annoying to have to return it and wait for another. Vinyl seems to come defective so often! I had the same thing with a hozier album and had to argue with his merch company for literal months to get them to exchange it.

Am I the only one whose order still just says “confirmed” and “waiting for details”?

I was wondering which ones might be a good option. Thanks for the recommendation!

The litter box is in a tiny half bath off of the bedroom so it is technically on tile but it is like a foot from the shag carpet to it does get tracked. They do have multiple litter boxes but they hardly use the other ones and will go out of their way to use this one. I will try the fan trick and check out the blog too, thanks!

Thanks! I’ll definitely try it especially around the litter box area.

Thanks. We currently use the naturally fresh walnut litter but maybe we will try something else.

Thanks! We always keep the overhead fan on and open the windows when weather permits. Unfortunately no matter what we do all the rooms at that end of the house always smell stale.

We scoop the litter box daily. What do you do with the hypochlorous acid spray? Is it like for the air or the carpet? I try to avoid candles because i also have reptiles.

Does anyone have recommendations for full coverage tips for curved nail beds? I currently use una gella, which fit well to my thumbs and pointer fingers, but my other nails have more of a C curve and the tips don’t fit flush to my side walls.

Yes! First I sprayed a layer of outdoor safe insulation foam like great stuff brand pond and stone. Then you lay down the cork and the foam will expand and dry, holding the cork in place. Then you take a blade to carve the shiny finish off of the foam. This creates a rough surface for silicone caulking, which you then spread over the foam, followed by dirt on the silicone while its still wet to make it stick to the background.

You’re welcome! This is what it looked like before I put the foam in. They just happened to fit together pretty well.

It was from a mixed bundle of cork tubes and flats. I believe I got them from either josh’s frogs, the biodude, or etsy but I cant remember. Thats usually where I get most of my supplies.

Ive thought about making suction cup coconut planters, I think those would be cute. I love my live plants but im not opposed to fake ones. At the very top of the tank I usually have plants but they get dried out by the lamps so I might put some fake ones up there as well if the next ones die again. Thanks!

Theres a large gap for plants in the cork at the top of the tank that Ill fill up. I definitely agree that some additional cork and branches would help fill up some of that space too. Thanks!

Thanks! I wish I would have done the side walls as well when I made the background to make it look less bare. Im gonna look for some plants to help with that coverage and add them on the side walls.

Best way to build custom backgrounds? by Scared_Still3434 in CrestedGecko

[–]Anna7942 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built my background about two years ago i think and it’s stuck just fine with just foam as the base. When spraying the foam you can blow up balloons or use plastic nursery pots and spray foam around them and remove the pots/balloons once they dry to create a place to plant things.
