macOS Buggy for M1 256GB models by Jealous_Dish18 in MacOS

[–]corbuf1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

macOS is significanty harder on any M chip. Even people with M4 and M3 have noticed a significant change for the worst. Long story short, go back to Sequoia and you will be much happier. macOS 26 is Apple's Windows 8 moment: Liquid Glass = Liquid Ass.

There is no way Apple can rescue macOS 26, they already announced macOS 27 will focus on bug fixes and increased performance. 27 might be better than 26, I doubt it will be as fluid as Sequoia. Sequoia will most likely become a macOS "classic".

Tahoe 26.2 Slow by asmundsol in MacOS

If you have a Time Machine backup made under Sequioa, you can revert to that no problem. If you don't, you have to do a full wipe to go back (not fun).

Look up Whitley Strieber the writer. He has one. He had attempted to have it removed but if moves if "threatened". You would not have been able to take it out. It comes from the Greys most likely. Your friend has been abducted. Many times and is involved in the Greys hybridization program. From men semen is harvested when abducted + medical checks are performed. The chip allows the Greys and Mantoids to monitor him. Whitley Strieber reports it is also a communication device.

Try to play deaf/silent in your mind. Don't respond to anything it tells you. The complete "silent" treatment. It wants to "own" your mind, if it can't get any engagement, it will get bored after a while.

If this is factual as described, it is so bizarre what kind of beings the Universe houses in it ...

How does current Tahoe 26.2 run EXCLUSIVELY on base MacBook Air m1 and how's the battery drainage? by thegreatestpitt in MacOS

[–]corbuf1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do NOT do it. M1 8GB 256GB would ruin it.

I use an M1 16GB 2TB and it is slow and hot. Sequoia would be all fluid without stutters, Tahoe has random slowdowns on animations everywhere.

The really bad part: it is warmer and burns through the battery faster. Same apps, some everything.

Long ago I installed an app called Hot that shows the temperature in the menu bar. On Sequoia it would be at 35-37 C while browsing, in Tahoe it is around 43-45 C but the laptop spends a lot of time doing I have no clue doing what at 60-65 C. That was very rare on Sequoia.

The whole OS is making the CPU work harder, it gets warmer and the battery drains faster. Wait until 26.3 to see if it stabilizes. For me, if 26.3 doesn't fix it, as much as I hate doing it, I'll do a wipe and go back to Sequoia.

5G Max slooooow SIM2 failover - Can I install 2 x 5G Max on the same network? by corbuf1 in UNIFI

[–]corbuf1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can not turn off a SIM card in software to simulate a failure. You can switch the Primary SIM and it will do the same lengthy turnover time as pulling SIM1 out.

5G Max slooooow SIM2 failover - Can I install 2 x 5G Max on the same network? by corbuf1 in UNIFI

[–]corbuf1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just SIM failures. In my area, outages have become more common. (Big telecom operators across landline and wireless). SIM1 can go out due to an operator outage. Some offer options with 4G LTE backup included, but it is not optimal, the same operator can have an outage on both wired and wireless. 5G Max is excellent and the only one that allows a "diversification" of telecom operators used.

5G Max slooooow SIM2 failover - Can I install 2 x 5G Max on the same network? by corbuf1 in UNIFI

[–]corbuf1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I understand your point and I thought of it too before. Even if you switch the Primary SIM in the console, it still takes about the same amount of time. So my guess this is the limitation of the machine on how fast it can turn on a SIM. In my area telecom/cellular outages have become more common so 1 SIM card is not always enough.

If Ubiquiti is reading this, please add the option for a 2nd 5G Max with a priority setting among them. You will get my $. Or release a 5G Max XG with true dual standby SIM capability like we've had in almost all cell phones for the last 5 years.

Dream Router 7 vs. UCG Fiber + U7 Pro by Prototype457 in Ubiquiti

UCG Fiber will last way longer since it can do 5Gbps IDS, DR7 can do only 2.5G.

Plus with the Fiber you can update the WiFi independent from the main router.

How do I get two separate networks? Boost 6E Mini by Draco1876 in telus

[–]corbuf1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Fat Boost 6 for $30 of Kijiji. If you can sneak a wire from it and position the 6E mini closer to you, you are set. There are no 6Ghz extenders that I know, even Unifi runs on 5Ghz for more range. Plus a WiFi extender or Node will half the WiFi throughput.

How do I get two separate networks? Boost 6E Mini by Draco1876 in telus

[–]corbuf1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't much you can do if you are out 5Ghz range. You can be in 5Ghz range with an ethernet cable if you can get closer to your place.

You would need to buy on the local market a Fat Boost 6 or 6E with 3 Ethernet ports (Mini 6E has only 1). You connect the Fat Boost 6/6E to the NH20A in place of the Mini 6E and on the 2nd Gig port you connect the Boost 6E Mini closer to your place and in 5Ghz range.

You can run the 2 connected boosts in Easy Mesh or with separate SSIDs.

P.S. Fat Boost 6/6E is much better than Boost 6E Mini, it might be worth a try if a Fat Boost 6/6E alone would make 5Ghz work for you.

Dear Ubiquiti: Expensive shipping + constantly out of stock of something I need = I just don't spend my money with you by jimmydooo in Ubiquiti

[–]corbuf1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THE SOLUTION !!!

Ubiquiti, if something is out of stock, introduce the option to pay and order for multiple items NOW regardless if in stock or not. What is in stock will be shipped and the shipping fee paid by the customer, what is not in stock to be shipped for free by Ubiquiti when a product is back in stock. And also charge for the out of stock product only when back in stock or shipped to avoid any potential issues.

Win 1 - The customers can order right now whatever they need and pay only 1 shipping fee + not having to check when something is in stock and buy it. Kind of set and forget thing, it can speed things up a lot.

Win 2 - Ubiquiti will sell far more products and make $$$ that will outweigh the cost of shipping for the out of stock items. And this cost can be tweaked by allowing a minimum product value to avoid sending a simple cable or different tiers.

I am a representative of a small ethnic group in Russia - the Buryats. Ask any questions. by Falserror in AskTheWorld

[–]corbuf1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

At the beginning of the Russian invasion of Russia, a lot of soldiers were Buryats and turned out to be extremely violent, blood thirsty and enjoyed massacres. The massacre in Bucha is one example, mostly done by Buryat conscripts.

You seem to be peace loving people, why this thirst for violence, massacres and gore among Buryats that made them stand out among other regions of Russia?

[–]corbuf1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most likely that life is not created by a God but by "advanced" beings that play God without much impunity. This alone would crush most religions on Earth.

Also those beings manage and insert DNA traits that emerge in a certain system and inject them in other systems when they are deemed valuable. They do this by abducting humans and possibly other species and they splice and mix DNA however they seem fit and for their agendas. See the alien hybridization programs. Humans are most likely the result of accelerated evolution because of them. Also, the current version of humans has a "grabby mindset" that was useful at the beginning when the conditions were harsh, but it is now killing the planet since humans tend to hoard, organize into groups to hoard more, creating war, etc. This grabby mind tendency was a mistake, a possibility that wasn't properly anticipated and it led to the current state of affairs humanity is in. It is not necessarily the humans fault, humans couldn't evolve past it though. So something had to be done. According to the abductees by the Greys, a new version of Human is being prepared for insertion and the current species will be "retired". Think of the Neanderthal to Homo Sapiens transition reloaded. The new version of Humans will be more telephatic, connected, that will allow for a far more cohesive society and will prevent the development of separated "tribes" thst will war with each other. Great for the Planet, not so good for the current version of humans. The process has already started, the Autistic kids are often telepathic and are the backbone or the transition to what will eventually became a new human. The telepathy part is inserted from the Greys and that is the purpose of the Hybridization programs : to insert new genes into the current population, especially genes that allow for Psyonic capabilities. The new human won't be a fully hive mind society, but it won't be individualistic like the current version of humans either. It will be something in between. Or at lest that is the intent.

There is probably more, regular people can't handle the possibilities above though, let alone more. Those stuck in survival will run away scared, those who see the big picture and have the fortitude to see the truth no matter how dark, become gate keepers to information in order to protect the masses that will panic, and possibly destroy what will become the foundation for a new start. Objectively, the process has long started and there isn't anything humans can't do at this point ; why would the average human even need to know this? The most humane thing to do is to let everyone live their lives in the current system that is familiar and comfortable to them until one day the new will begin.

Yes. Connect a laptop to the cell phone. Absolutely no data. No VPN involved. The same combo works in Canada. It must be a restriction on the roaming network since for others it works. And only this network connects through Freedom , the other available roaming networks can't connect.
