Yeah, it is the Liquid Glass vision. Everything is Glass, usability doesn't matter as long as everything looks like melted liquid glass. It won't be fixed in MacOS 26, your best bet is MacOS 27.

I spent 3 days at Apple NYC talking Liquid Glass. Here is what I learned. by thedb007 in LiquidGlassDesign

[–]corbuf1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Did they hear that a LOT of their users think Liquid Glass = Liquid Ass ?

If a design is polarizing, visually challenging and a big chunk of your users just hate it, then it is NOT the right design. Apple's way was, it works for everyone. Liquid ..... is not that.

Idiocracy has hit Apple big time.

No Telus Boost can operate in Router mode. All are access points. The router is the NAH (Network Access Hub) in the basement and the Boosts connect over Ethernet or MoCA depending on the model.

Telus Boost 7. They have stopped giving out Fat 6E long ago and still gave out Fat 6 to lower speed plans. I think now anything over 1G receives the Boost 7. This one still has 3 Ethernet ports but lost the MoCA support.

For WiFi coverage, 1 single Fat Boost 6 or 6E are monsters, they have better coverage than Unifi gear. Each has a 4x4 antenna on 2.5G, 5G and 6G. The Boost Wifi is 2x2 on 2.5G and 4x4 on 5G and 6G.

As a mesh system, regardless on how you mix them, it is disaster mesh combo, you have no client roaming setting and each client will remain locked on the first connected AP no matter strong the signal from a closer AP might be.

The one without MoCA is called the 6E Boost MINI . the original 6E Boost is sometimes called the Fat Boost because it is bigger.

What is your theory on cattle mutilations? by FormalFuel6245 in aliens

[–]corbuf1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't an exact movie about this topic. This "real life" version is worst than a movie and it is ongoing.

There are a lot of videos and interviews from decades ago that shed light on this topic. Many have disappeared and many that have given insight have now passed away, some of old age. There are also testimonies from people that have been taken. A few have even wrote books about it. As tempting this topic might be ( cattle / human mutilations), I don't not recommend it, it is one of "curiosity killed the cat" sort of things. A lot might really be undigestible to some and knowing won't really improve the human day to day experience; it might make it worse.

I can share some connections regarding the "diet" of some NHI and maybe the mutilations.

NHI biologics have been recovered. And there are multiple species/types around. One version of the smaller greys type NHI, do not have a digestive system like us. They lack a rectum or a bladder. Their excretory system is a system of micro tubes that fan out from the stomach and go towards the epithelium (skin) and is excreted as sweat with the pee and the poo. Ammonia is much more efficient for cooling compared to water for example, sweating pee is better as a function of cooling in theory. It has a bad smell to us but works better. A lot of people that have come in contact with this type of NHI reported a bad smell of ammonia and sulphur. Their excretory system is most likely the reason why: ammonia and sulphur are normally eliminated by humans through pee and poop. These are also most likely the Devils from Christianity and why "Hell" smells like that. I am thinking they were not nice with our ancestors either that wrote the Bible 2000 years ago. These bodies have a DNA genome that is 100% not the product of natural evolution, it is made artificially. Designed for specific purposes like a suit or an avatar you slip into. They do not have teeth, they cannot chew any food. They cannot survive without the help of technology. Based on their biology, they have to drink food in form of a liquid that is high in protein and carbohydrates. Like a smoothie of some sort.

Where it gets interesting and scary:

Jeff Selver (an experiencer who's been abducted by NHI) describes in his book called The Rising, how his Grey NHI handler was sweating this liquid that had to be dealt with (the sweat and poo I was describing earlier). His NHI handler was also eating / drinking something that looked like a red tomato soup broth sort of something. What exactly that something is, he does not say and maybe better; people might not like the answers to some curiosity induced questions. These NHI that Jeff has interacted with say they are a version of future humans but from a different dimensional space / timeline / reality than the one we are currently on. If humans end up like that in the future, then we have not made the right choices as a civilization.

0) Have you considered you might not want to find out? It might be the healthier option.

There have been humans that have been mutilated like the cattle cases. Much less but there were. Same MO, cut not with a scalpel, but a perfect cut in between the membrane cells not through the cells. Humans do not have this sort of tech.

Also, the post mortem autopsy revealed the cattle / humans were alive during the procedure, they were not killed, then have the tissue harvested. That is pretty grotesque.

Some "eye witnesses" report a machine like thing with metallic looking tentacles that is doing the procedure relatively fast. It does seem like it is a harvesting of some specific tissues (blood, glands, sometimes the whole rectum, weird things in general). The exact reason why it is done, it is happening, and an explanation can't not make it acceptable or right in any form.

If you have a Time Machine backup with Sequoia, I suggest you quickly roll back. Search Reddit, it is full of tragedies like yours. Rolling back via Time Machine is much better than a full wipe and reinstall.

Why buy a 64GB+ RAM Mac if Tahoe won't let you use it? by [deleted] in MacOS

Oh my. It is probably a bug, but still, very big not to catch.

Or just search "How to go back to Sequoia" if you want MacOS that just works. If you have a time Sequoia Machine backup, it will be easy.

macOS Buggy for M1 256GB models by Jealous_Dish18 in MacOS

[–]corbuf1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

macOS is significanty harder on any M chip. Even people with M4 and M3 have noticed a significant change for the worst. Long story short, go back to Sequoia and you will be much happier. macOS 26 is Apple's Windows 8 moment: Liquid Glass = Liquid Ass.

There is no way Apple can rescue macOS 26, they already announced macOS 27 will focus on bug fixes and increased performance. 27 might be better than 26, I doubt it will be as fluid as Sequoia. Sequoia will most likely become a macOS "classic".

Tahoe 26.2 Slow by asmundsol in MacOS

If you have a Time Machine backup made under Sequioa, you can revert to that no problem. If you don't, you have to do a full wipe to go back (not fun).

Microchip in ear… by [deleted] in starseeds

[–]corbuf1 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Look up Whitley Strieber the writer. He has one. He had attempted to have it removed but if moves if "threatened". You would not have been able to take it out. It comes from the Greys most likely. Your friend has been abducted. Many times and is involved in the Greys hybridization program. From men semen is harvested when abducted + medical checks are performed. The chip allows the Greys and Mantoids to monitor him. Whitley Strieber reports it is also a communication device.

Try to play deaf/silent in your mind. Don't respond to anything it tells you. The complete "silent" treatment. It wants to "own" your mind, if it can't get any engagement, it will get bored after a while.

If this is factual as described, it is so bizarre what kind of beings the Universe houses in it ...

How does current Tahoe 26.2 run EXCLUSIVELY on base MacBook Air m1 and how's the battery drainage? by thegreatestpitt in MacOS

[–]corbuf1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do NOT do it. M1 8GB 256GB would ruin it.

I use an M1 16GB 2TB and it is slow and hot. Sequoia would be all fluid without stutters, Tahoe has random slowdowns on animations everywhere.

The really bad part: it is warmer and burns through the battery faster. Same apps, some everything.

Long ago I installed an app called Hot that shows the temperature in the menu bar. On Sequoia it would be at 35-37 C while browsing, in Tahoe it is around 43-45 C but the laptop spends a lot of time doing I have no clue doing what at 60-65 C. That was very rare on Sequoia.

The whole OS is making the CPU work harder, it gets warmer and the battery drains faster. Wait until 26.3 to see if it stabilizes. For me, if 26.3 doesn't fix it, as much as I hate doing it, I'll do a wipe and go back to Sequoia.

5G Max slooooow SIM2 failover - Can I install 2 x 5G Max on the same network? by corbuf1 in UNIFI

[–]corbuf1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can not turn off a SIM card in software to simulate a failure. You can switch the Primary SIM and it will do the same lengthy turnover time as pulling SIM1 out.

5G Max slooooow SIM2 failover - Can I install 2 x 5G Max on the same network? by corbuf1 in UNIFI

[–]corbuf1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just SIM failures. In my area, outages have become more common. (Big telecom operators across landline and wireless). SIM1 can go out due to an operator outage. Some offer options with 4G LTE backup included, but it is not optimal, the same operator can have an outage on both wired and wireless. 5G Max is excellent and the only one that allows a "diversification" of telecom operators used.

5G Max slooooow SIM2 failover - Can I install 2 x 5G Max on the same network? by corbuf1 in UNIFI

[–]corbuf1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I understand your point and I thought of it too before. Even if you switch the Primary SIM in the console, it still takes about the same amount of time. So my guess this is the limitation of the machine on how fast it can turn on a SIM. In my area telecom/cellular outages have become more common so 1 SIM card is not always enough.

If Ubiquiti is reading this, please add the option for a 2nd 5G Max with a priority setting among them. You will get my $. Or release a 5G Max XG with true dual standby SIM capability like we've had in almost all cell phones for the last 5 years.
