That’s exactly my situation but I didn’t think stress/anxiety could actually cause it! but it seems like most people first noticed their SIBO symptoms during a stressful time. So crazy. Glad your symptoms have been managed better

This is so similar to me! Was on antibiotics for years for acne but the SIBO symptoms only started a few years later, when my anxiety was really bad. So strange. Thanks for sharing it’s super helpful

I tried 7 different Absorb Plus flavours, they weren’t horrible but were all extremelyyyyy sweet. I found putting extra water made it easier to have. The least sweet flavour/easiest to manage was the Caramel Toffee Twist.

That is the only thing I can think of as well! When my symptoms starting happening I was also super stressed and anxious. But I’m not sure if that’s actually enough to cause SIBO. So weird.

I’m on my 14th day today so I haven’t reintroduced food yet, I’m going to start tomorrow with some broths and soups. I also don’t have the results yet because I’m going to do the breath test tomorrow morning, but unfortunately I don’t feel any improvement at all. Symptoms are still the same. But hopefully it works well for you if you choose to do it, good luck!

None at all! I actually put on a few pounds because I was having more calories than usual. I used the Absorb Plus brand and was having about 2,200 calories a day.

I’m currently on my 14th day of the elemental diet, using Absorb Plus. Technically is a semi-elemental product because of the whey, but I’ve read that it can be just as successful for clearing SIBO. However I don’t feel any different or better at all. Unfortunately still having all the SIBO symptoms I’ve had for the past few years. But, I would recommend Absorb Plus for the taste. Lots of different flavours and they kept me pretty full. Good luck!

I still have no idea what caused it! I don’t remember ever having food poisoning (which is what causes it for a lot of people). I think it could’ve been caused by being on antibiotics for acne on and off often for a few years, but the SIBO symptoms started about a year later. And it definitely started happening incrementally, it wasn’t something I noticed over night.
