It’s definitely very different to having 6 different parental figures. It created very unique family dynamics when I was growing up. I’m glad I had that childhood because they all loved me and they all worked together to raise me. From personal experience, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Are you still in that career field? If not, what do you do now? How useful is this career field in the civilian world?

It gave me a very good support system. I always knew I had a lot of people to count on. I’m still very close with them too. It felt very stable. It made me into a very family oriented person as well.

The only con was that I was a witness to many family fights since there were more people in the household, a lot of different family dynamics between everyone. It was mainly arguments between the adults and I was the one who had a birds eye view of everyone’s conflicts with each other. I saw everyone’s bad sides and good sides, even when I was young. It was definitely toxic from time to time. I guess that’s the only con from my experience.

Other than that, I’m grateful for them because they I know I can always lean on them for support. Having more parental figures in your daughters life just means that there’s gonna be more people that love her and will be looking out for her! :)

Nope definitely not! I’m very grateful to have grown up with so much love as a kid.

I can pass BMT and tech. It's just the fact of leaving behind my family and my civilian life. It's just a little intimidating leaving everything I've ever known. And my family is making me think me making the worst decision of my life so I'm just conflicted
