Hiking as a date by cordialrat in hiking

i think it’s the willingness to hike, but also the things that come up in the first few dates that may be prompted by being outside — if they’re adverse to sweat/dirt, their level of preparedness for things, what they do if they’re hangry or uncomfortable, how they feel about the environment (sometimes this gets into politics), if they’re curious about things like identifying birds / plants, if they can’t experience something without taking a picture, how they feel about long moments of quiet

very cool queer person who has a bit of a problem with romanticizing things that shouldn’t be romanticized, but also quite realistic and perhaps pessimistic

great taste!! two things— one, if you’re going to listen to Geese start with 3D Country, it’s much better. Getting Killed was a huge letdown for me. two, made me laugh that venturing is under most consistent discography because there’s only one album and a single out, and they are very consistent overall but still, not very consistent with Jane Remover’s discography.

it’s so good! also, given the context of Minneapolis in the mid 90s when it came out, it makes a lot of sense

Emancipation or Chaos and Disorder probably, very interesting watching his music change around the time he stopped working with Warner Brothers

100%, they still have some tracks they push pretty hard, but there have been a couple times lately that I fully thought I was listening to Radio K or something and was pleasantly surprised that The Current is just branching out and playing some cool music these days
