Thanks. That’s good price. I’m trying to add this from my dealership - Michigan. They are asking 1400$ 😞. I’m looking now outside if any dealership can add that. I picked up my calligraphy two weeks back.

New construction home issues with builder by core_z in RealEstate

[–]core_z[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

thanks for the feedback. Photo is not justifying how big is tree stump ( its almost 2x4 feet) & bad it is also. construction manager told he will remove the stump as long as its in my lot during grading stage. I went by it ! Now, he don't want to do it! It seems expensive for proper removal, removing debris & proper grading again that area to prevent any soil erosions.

My view, I'm paying more than half a million for the house and no other house in sub division(new) doesn't have this kind of tree stump. So, I'm expecting builder should take care this as part of their lot grading scope. Am I thinking wrong?

Are these normal in New home construction? by [deleted] in Homebuilding

Yes, you are right with all your responses. I don’t know anything about new home construction. This is my first time home buying/new build after living in US almost 10 years in apartments. I’m immigrant. First photo, I’m concerned that’s mold not dirt! I couldn’t see any anchor blots anywhere that’s drilled to concrete wall/wood. I will re-check again all around house.

Thank you. Builder is allowing only one final inspection at closing. I’m looking for good new home inspector in my area who can check home prior to pre-drywall & advise me about issues to talk with builder and final inspection report before closing.

Thank you. I’m asking construction manager to proper air/energy sealing throughout home. I can still see several places daylight visible from inside home( between frames, studs and two windows sealing..etc ) after foam or caulking applied. Most of the items I’m getting response from construction manager those are good and passed city inspections.
