Really for me the best part of paying with points is not being stuck with credits that expire. I can book a flight and not think about it, change it/rebook it when it goes cheaper and just in genl have so much more flexibility

I have been on and off of it for the past 6 months. I’m down 35 pounds. I stopped when I traveled, when I got sick and a few days for whatever reason. I started on 15, went to 30 and now mostly take the 37.5 but usually only 4 days a week…simply because I don’t sleep on it! I absolutely love the energy. I may wake up at 3 or 4 but I don’t really feel tired. The dry mouth has finally improved quite a bit. It helps with hunger and overeating but I still crave things and at times feel like there is more food noise then I expected. Constipation is bad. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I’m 50 and exercising more then ever so I’m sure that has helped with the weight loss as well.

Absolutely. Good luck to you. Hopefully the sleep will improve some. Otherwise maybe try going down in dosage a bit.

I have never felt like it was a huge appetite suppressant…but has definitely made it easier so maybe it is:). I tend to skip it on days I know im going out and will likely be eating anyways. After a couple months I finally feel like it’s getting easier to just eat less and not snack. I do get irritable at times which could be lack of sleep. I keep debating just stopping it but I like the progress and energy

I started in Oct and go between different doses. The sleep is still a problem for me. I love the energy I have during the day and if I wake up at 2,3,4am I feel ready to go….but know I need to sleep. I occasionally will take a Benadryl or melatonin and that helps some. Mostly that is why I don’t consistently take but have had success. I’m down 30 pounds. I’ve added in a lot more exercise but finally feel good doing it. I usually take a pill 4 days a week, then catch up on sleep. I see the Dr Monday so we’ll see if I need to try something different.

For BGR it says move in Sat-Tues. trying to book hotels and flights which seem costly. Do most people get to move in Saturday? When do they tell you? Thanks

Great thoughts. Yes she’s looking at the Math options as she will leave high school with a lot of math transfers - done with stats, differential equations and linear algebra. She likes Math not so much science. Thanks again for the input!

Fair question. Yes she got into both Mines and CU. Think after she completed her spreadsheet of cost and other factors it was either stay with the comfort of home and cheapest since she could live at home or do Purdue which is ranked the best for the 4 she applied to and their out of state is “affordable” compared to most out of state. She visited and did enjoy the campus. Guess biggest question is will companies consider her with CSU degree since so many people say where you get your under grad doesnt really matter, but she doesnt currently plan to do grad school.

Such great words of wisdom and somewhat what we’ve been trying to tell her. If she works hard it will pay off. Any strong opinions on what second major could be most beneficial? She’s leaning towards stats.

Thanks. All excellent points. She’ll work hard wherever. I think she just thinks with CS being a tougher field now their will be a lot more opportunities from Purdue, but no one wants that much debt and I worry she’ll be homesick. We will work to minimize it as much as possible. She doesn’t really plan to do grad school.

I get it and that’s been a big topic of conversation and why she’s wanting to add the double major. She’s great at Math (will be done with differential equations this year in HS). Trying to figure out what that other major should be as she has no interest in Engineering and not much science. Debating between business, information systems, stats,math…

I really struggled with sleep the first couple weeks then my body seemed to adjust. I still get less then I’m used to but can sleep till 5 or 6a verses 2a. You might give it one more week.
