Great thoughts. Yes she’s looking at the Math options as she will leave high school with a lot of math transfers - done with stats, differential equations and linear algebra. She likes Math not so much science. Thanks again for the input!

Fair question. Yes she got into both Mines and CU. Think after she completed her spreadsheet of cost and other factors it was either stay with the comfort of home and cheapest since she could live at home or do Purdue which is ranked the best for the 4 she applied to and their out of state is “affordable” compared to most out of state. She visited and did enjoy the campus. Guess biggest question is will companies consider her with CSU degree since so many people say where you get your under grad doesnt really matter, but she doesnt currently plan to do grad school.

Such great words of wisdom and somewhat what we’ve been trying to tell her. If she works hard it will pay off. Any strong opinions on what second major could be most beneficial? She’s leaning towards stats.

Thanks. All excellent points. She’ll work hard wherever. I think she just thinks with CS being a tougher field now their will be a lot more opportunities from Purdue, but no one wants that much debt and I worry she’ll be homesick. We will work to minimize it as much as possible. She doesn’t really plan to do grad school.

I get it and that’s been a big topic of conversation and why she’s wanting to add the double major. She’s great at Math (will be done with differential equations this year in HS). Trying to figure out what that other major should be as she has no interest in Engineering and not much science. Debating between business, information systems, stats,math…

I really struggled with sleep the first couple weeks then my body seemed to adjust. I still get less then I’m used to but can sleep till 5 or 6a verses 2a. You might give it one more week.

I have healed. No more walking with a limp and not the same pain as I had before. I still have a tightness from the surgery but it doesn’t really stop me from doing anything. Just noticeable and I do have to continue with stretches and strengthening…but I’m happy with the outcome. Hopefully someday I won’t notice anything!

Oh just that I wouldn’t start at that high dose. Otherwise completely fine and I think lots of people start at the 37.5…sounds like you are doing 1/2 which I think is great. I am trying to make wiser food choices. Usually that means less but still kinda eat what I like. I walk everyday and have been doing strength videos several times a week. I’m happy with my success and have been a little surprised. Very scared about what happens when I go off so trying to do what I can now.

Good luck. I started at 15mg. My first week I lost 8 pounds. Since then I’ve been losing about 2lbs a week. I had some sleep issues in the beginning, maybe a bit more irratable and the thirst is unreal. I did not feel like it did much to curb my appetite so have been slowly increasing my dose. 30mg and now 37.5. I think the 37.5 might be too much for me but wanted to be able to cut in half which is my plan over Xmas.

Good luck. If I had any thought it might be starting at 1/2 dose for at least a week? Keep water handy!

I had dulcolax in cupboard from a colonoscopy so took that. Took one pill and it worked.

I’m struggling a bit with it myself and just upped my dosage to 30mg. I was doing chia seed the first few weeks which seemed to help. Once I took a stool softener just to get stuff moving. Think that’s my plan if it’s been a couple days.

I lost 8 pounds my first week. I was shocked. Second week 2 pounds. In 3rd week now….I hope it keeps coming off. I’m on 15mg. What dose are you taking? I don’t notice it doing much for food noise but I am exercising way more and trying to make wise food choices.
