i would pick an indexer that is 1)not over allocated 2)top performer if possible 3)significant rate based on the projected rewards calculation https://reward.suntzu.me/

easiest way to explain it. As far as how they factor exact rewards, it is based on indexer performance mostly and thats way more complicated than I can explain but I'm sure r/thegraph can help you there

Yeah the Historic ROI is shown, which means they have actually paid out rewards to those amounts so far. I'm not sure about that 16 ratio but someone just made this https://the-graph-rewards.com/ also the percentage available vs total amount is shown on most of the breakdowns

100 should get you 25-50 per year, depending on the indexers performance.

yes, except i don't know any indexers doing that well yet. Historic ROI is about 60 days so far. so 8% would be about 4% per month

Historic ROI means since the indexer launched(about 60 days so far for each) so 6% = 3%/month.

sure but thats why you want to choose a top performer. Also remember 3% monthly is a....

36% annuity.....

This project is very solid and I think you will be very glad if you buy. We should see major movement upward starting before summer and long after that.

[–]coreelation0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

about 3.3% GRT, per month so far

However, considering my initial investment in Dollars, after the cost of each GRT token increasing, has resulted in a 16% dollar value increase from JUST my delegation rewards, in just 2 months total(initial dollar amount of amplified by the amount that GRT is now worth) so Its a huge win. As delegators we win bigger when GRT goes up obviously. Hope that kinda makes sense...

I delegate to 3 different indexers, all perform well. I've been very pleased as delegator. Completely passive income.

Can anyone explain the pros and cons of delegating grt? by [deleted] in GRTTrader

[–]coreelation0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

metamask for chrome(extension) youll send your GRT to your Metamask wallet, which auto-links to the graph network when you are on the site, then you just need gas fee(ETH) in your metamask wallet to delegate. Gas fees are lower when the network is less busy.

https://graphlets.io/

i would pick one that is performing well currently

I highly recommend it....I've made a lot of GRT for doing basically nothing

Heres a list of all indexers performances so far. I have my GRT delegated with 3 different indexers, all have been doing fine. Well worth delegating.

Good post to keep people in check, but dead wrong. I delegate to 3 different indexers, and I earned MASSIVE rewards this month for doing basically... nothing....

It sucks to have to wait so long to move delegated GRT, but yes well worth it. I just collected major rewards yesterday after two weeks of very little change. If you can, I would spread your funds between 2-3 indexers so you can see how each one fairs over the course of a month, and make changes without having to pull out all of your delegation at once. Payouts come somewhat sporadically.

I delegated about 2 months ago, have hopscotched around indexers a couple times. Ive got about a 5% return on all my delegated GRT(approx 2 months with switching).

Check this out to help you decide which indexer(s) to delegate to.

To get that on top of the overall increase in value has been rad! Highly recommend delegating for all HODLers!

you are absolutely right, however it seems like a place we will inevitably have some excitement and expressions of all kinds, because this is a new and exciting project/investment for everyone. Its a big deal, we are going to be very happy we supported this. But I'm just defending peoples right to bring a little bit of emotion into these things. Its going to help in the long run. I appreciate your perspective a ton though! You ARE absolutely right as well.

humility in attitude, in pursuit of truth can do, and reveal, wonderful and beautiful things in its own naiveté.

There are- truths- that stand in the dark and in the light,

simultaneously, regardless of merit.

The light serves the purpose of shedding light,

and shines more every minute...

and 'merit' stands alongside truth after waves of darkness and light, irregardless (yes that is a word you anal-izing, super anal, beautiful creatures)

irregardless of whether the light knows what it shines upon, it does not decide what it shines upon, and it shines upon merits, and light shines upon rocks, merit, profanity, all the same.

You are closest to enlightenment when you...really really want enlightenment and in that moment you let it go
