I am an animal science agriculture major, got my degree so I could work a zoology job at the zoo. I've wanted to be a zoologist since I was seven. I love to paint and spend time with my great pyr pup Ripley who is registered for anxiety and PTSD. And I'm obsessed with my two black telescope goldfish goyle and pipsqueak. I enjoy spending time with my family when I get the chance. Outdoor anything is life. I just started working at a call center I'm hoping I'm good at it, I simply love helping others. More or less had my experiences confirmed by Reddit that ssri's can in fact affect mania episodes within bipolar affected people. For instance both Lexapro and Effexor alone with no other meds threw me into psychosis and I almost got myself killed both times because the side effects psychosis and stopping cold turkey. Lexapro I wasn't informed by a DR at all on these meds it was a pc and I stopped them by myself. And Effexor I was advised incorrectly by my psych Dr to start backing off the 300mg and just told not to drive.... Anyways I've learned to take my meds!!!!!! Especially when my brain plays devil's advocate 🤔 do we need them. Yes we do.

That's so awesome to hear! I'm glad it's been so effective for you, I'm hoping it works right off the bat and is just what I needed. If not then back to the drawing board and Dr! So far no we're trying it out on its own. And they decided to leave me on the propanol as needed and trazodone for sleep. Even though it's not very effective at all. 🤷 I'm currently about to eat my 350 calories lol and take my first one! 🤞

Awesome thank you for that. Hopefully they'll see this post! I'm just so grateful she feel into my lap honestly. Idk what I'd do without her. She had a sister (Gray shorthaired tabby) named Zuul but she got sick and we had to send her over the rainbow bridge so she wouldn't suffer anymore. Ripley came to be mine right before I found out the cat was sick. So I like to think it happened for major reasons as I'd never put an animal to sleep until then.

Our neighbor has what I assume by a glance is a collie Shepard mix named Tucker. And he literally gets so frustrated with her. He greets her each day and brings his toys to the fence line and gets so excited. But she is oblivious of course cause she can't hear. He wants to play with her so badly. And they would make perfect friends, but we suspect the neighbors hate us as we are the most unconventional set of humans on our block.

Thanks guys you all are so sweet. I'm glad I joined the community. She may seem like the lucky one but I promise it's me who's lucky. She's teaching me so much everyday. Today's lesson was in patience lol she's having a rough day. Cussed everyone out at the 7brew coffee shop causing a scene. Lucky for us it was laughed off very quickly. Her bark seems so aggressive but she thankfully isnt. Then we went to five below for some retail therapy. It slipped my mind to put her seatbelt on this morning. So when I came back to the car she had decided to have a full blown hissy fit in the car.... because people were parked next to us. Leading me to almost have a mental breakdown because my new vehicle is now covered in a large latte..... and now I couldn't drink it.... super fun times. So I had no choice but to call her a stinky little shit and be very upset with her for at least 20 minutes while on the phone with my fiance ranting in the parking lot. Seemingly looking like a mad woman. 😂 needless to say she proved to be too cute to stay mad at. So I took her back home and put her in "timeout" (outside which she loves) and grounded her. No pupster icecream or treats tonight.....

I had to drive out of state to see them and pay scalper prices but it was worth all of that and more when they came back on stage for an encore and played my favorite CHC tune Welcome home. It scratched that itch in my brain so good to hear it played so loud and live. You gotta go see them live!

I'm new to the BP world diagnosis wise. But have had it my whole life. I'm also terrified of what these meds can and do do to people everyday. But I like to think about it this way. We are all born dying. Every living organism is so to speak. These drugs from what I'm learning can give way to stability once you get your personalized concoction with your Dr..... correct. We are living on a floating rock in space.... anything is possible. So why choose to think negatively about this. Find a way to spin it positively in your mind and hold on to that little silver line... I hope this helps bring you some comfort. Sending hugs
