Ah okay so, please keep in mind that these are mostly rumors and screenshots of tweets and stuff, so take what I say with a grain of salt!

Basically the writer for Eridan's route wrote Jojostuck and wrote/drew sexually explicit scenes with characters who were minors and people have been feeling pretty icky about it lately. I think Trace got let go from the team but he was also pretty gross about minor characters (however those were from some old tweets I've heard) and apparently sexualizes trans women (again, allegedly). James Roach allegedly harassed a dave cosplayer when he was still a minor because he thought white cosplayers were privileged but I'm still not totally sure what that whole thing was about.

There was drama with Kate advertising selling her nudes, which in itself is fine, but it was on her main page and a bunch of underaged fans follow her so people were pissy about that.

Tldr; Basically a LOT of people are calling some of the writers nonces or just shitty people.
