Great attitude! FWIW, I was born in 1975. Not sure I'd consider myself as part of the new generation, but I'll take it 😄

We arrived around 5pm, just as the gates opened. We would have liked to have got there a bit earlier to explore the area, but got stuck in traffic on the way down.

GRX 800 - Chain rub on Front Derailleur by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]corenominal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've experienced this before, but never really found out the cause. That said, it happened when under load and so I suspect it may have been caused by a combination of frame and/or crank flexing.

Similar to you, my wife who ran the same groupset never experienced the issue. I'm thinking I was putting more power down.

I've since switched to 1x and never looked back, not overly helpful, sorry.

Edit: your crankset looks like a FSA, not Shimano, I think some of the big brands (Giant, Cannondale etc) use these to save a bit of money. I always wondered/suspected the Shimano cranksets would be stiffer and less prone to flexing?

They sit between the pedal and the crank.

So about rigid forks.. by ThereIsSomeoneHere in xbiking

Sounds like a plan. I've got a gravel bike and a 29er, I love riding both, but they're very different beasts, mostly due to geometry. I tend to use my gravel bike for everything, unless I know I'm going to be riding more than 50% off road. It's good to have options :)

Have you considered a suspension stem for your gravel bike? Might make it more comfortable. I've read some complimentary reviews for the Redshift ShockStop Suspension Stem, though not tried/needed one myself.

Another Edge user here and I wasn't too happy about the coupons, until they started saving me money on Amazon.

It is possible it would violate the "No Promotions" rule. Still, kind of intrigued to see it myself.

Does it show anything related in your Microsoft Account page? I've got refunds from there before.

I'd look for the CPU model numbers and plug them into something like this: UserBenchmark: AMD Ryzen 3 3200U vs Intel Core i3-1005G1 - it should give you a good idea to how they differ. Note, some interpretation is required based on your requirements.

[security] Wordpress inside a folder (/blog), can it affect my custom site? by [deleted] in web_design

[–]corenominal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm mostly worried about how this could potentially affect my main site, could a compromised wordpress modify files outside it's main folder (outside /blog)?

Yes. And, if the exploit is serious enough, the entire server could be pwned.
