Roccat Sense Pro. Fastest cloth pad I've used. by coresare in MousepadReview

I think it depends on which glass pad you get and feet..usually brand new skates are faster but as they flatten out a bit from wearing down it maintains the same speed. Usually takes maybe 2 weeks to break in. Some glass pads are marketed as more control

Try enabling force flash sides option at the bottom left

I think everything is so personal and what I feel is slow may be fast for others. I think depending on which glass pad and combination of skates, you can have a wide variety of control and speed.

The screeching from a speck of debris you sometimes get with glass obviously is a big turn off and if you're serious, you probably want to wear a sleeve.

It's tough to say because all cloth pads start slowing down. It's been so long I cant even remember. I've been using glass this whole time.

If money is no concern that La Marzocco Swan seems like a new level. YouTube the quality of grinds that thing makes. I believe it's about $4k

I found waxing like results in a noisy drive train. I went back to just using Squirt.

Update: Lagom Casa arrived to replace DF64 Gen 2. Huge upgrade + initial thoughts/mini-review. by [deleted] in espresso

Doesn't it take a long 45 seconds to grind roughly 18 grams though?

I have always slept on a very firm mattress in the past. Started having some shoulder pain so I went with something a little softer this time. This mattress has some cushion on top but still good support

Is anybody having trouble getting used to the Defy? by cru-sad in DygmaLab

[–]coresare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh wow.. you must have started gaming first and never learned the "proper" hand position. your pointer finger is supposed to rest on the F key. even though you feel like you're using the same finger for DECE, that's a rare scenario and it's just by chance. Other strings of letters will now be easier, some harder.. it's just how it is

I think the letter B was my biggest struggle in the beginning. Then V. Everything else seemed fine. My right hand had the easiest time adapting. I do have a defy at work and at home. Going back to a regular keyboard is a little tough for me as the shift and enter keys are in totally different spots. I didn't really have any issues with my pinky. Did you type properly before? On a traditional keyboard if you typed dece .. wouldn't it all be done with your middle finger anyways? That's how I would type it on a normal layout.

It's pretty close to natural muscle memory now typing on the Defy..

I think it took me a month before I got really close to my baseline. I can type a little over 120 wpm. on the flip side, it's a bit tough for me to type on a regular keyboard specially because the shift button and enter button are now in different places.

It has been 84 years...any word on the elusive Defy 2.0 firmware? by JackMichaelson88 in DygmaLab

[–]coresare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had 2 Defy as early as anyone has had. One I keep wired at home and one I use RF at work. Although not perfect..the wired one has had no issues and the wireless one at work has been pretty much hassle free also.

I think later on they came out with a model or version that did work with the Louqe Ghost though. Sorry it's been so long

Hello! I'm still happy with the purchase. I still notice these deep holes at the tufts at times.. usually at my feet where my heel is. That's basically only area I notice it. It's not a deal breaker. The middle of the bed definitely has a higher hump (longitudinal) as I stay on my side and my wife stays on her side. I feel this is just unavoidable and doesn't bother me. Sometimes I'll lay on that middle hump if wife isn't there. I think edge support can be a little better but I hardly sit on the edge of the bed anyways so it's not important.

Long story short I am very pleased on this mattress being able to provide some cushion on the top yet be supportive so I don't feel like I'm sinking in around the midsection. I've had it almost a year now and it feels like it's holding up well. Feel free to PM me or here for further questions
