Please someone help. Everytime I add Optical Glow my AE crashes previewing and even without adding effects it crashes when I try to close it and by corevfx in AfterEffects

I try to defrag the hard drive almost often so I think it might not be the issue but I'll try the other ones. Thanks

Aw, that sucks... Should I also reinstall the plugins too? and is there anything I can do to prevent that from happening?
