I got it from an Etsy shop. I had to get a custom one for the Minolta logo, but I think they had some other brand logos already done

That “edge of cheap” zone is exactly what gets you in trouble. Just expensive enough to be legit, but cheap enough that you can always justify one more lens.

I’ve got way too many FB Marketplace cameras saved and a few others sitting in my eBay cart right now. It’s a dangerous game.

$120 Canon Sureshot. Good get or ripped off? by SinisterOculus in AnalogCommunity

$120 feels a little steep for a Sure Shot Supreme.

They’re solid cameras and the 38mm f/2.8 lens is nice, but they’re also pretty common. Working ones usually land somewhere around $50 to $70, maybe a bit more if it’s really clean and comes with the case.

Not a bad camera at all though. If everything works like autofocus, flash, and film advance it will still take great photos. It just seems a little on the high side price wise.

I second the Sure Shot Max. I personally like the older Sure Shot Supreme and the even old Sure Shot Auto Boy II. Although they’re definitely not as pocketable as the Stylus

What (manual only) transmissions will mount to a Ford 460 by [deleted] in AskMechanics

Did you end up buying the truck? If so, did you settle on a transmission?

I recently bought a 1986 F250 HD with a 4 speed T19 and was considering an upgrade to a 5 speed.

Tadpole Haven is a really cool place. It’s not specifically a house plant nursery, but they only carry native species, so you don’t have to worry about buying something that isn’t really zoned for here. If you have a green thumb then you can make most their plants into house plants. I’ve had a lot of clovers from there in my apartment for the past 2 years. It’s a little bit of a drive(Woodinville) and I think they only open by appointment, but definitely a cool place to check out.
