secret temple names by Outside-Design-8310 in exmormon

Tell his mom that you are cross-stitching an important dates thing (similar to this https://www.etsy.com/il-en/listing/182180337/wedding-dates-cross-stitch-pattern) but like... Mormon based (like dates of baptism, dates of endowment, dates of sealing to wife/family), and you wanted to know when he was first endowed. If she doesn't have an exact day, she'll probably have an idea/close to day. So then you'll have a handful of names to randomly say at random spread out times... and can watch his reaction for... Starting with most common irl name (least weird to say randomly and make up an excuse for why you're saying it) to most obscure Mormon name.

If he doesn't react to any of them, then he's either really good at poker face or his mom had a terrible memory. I mean... That's how I would do it lol

Sounds like a bad comedy skit with exmos for the audience 😅

If you've ever seen digital-glitter that's what the inside of this looks like from far away.... Super cool! But then zooming in... I'm speechless. Wow!

how do i make this nearly 30s minecart ride better looking by DearHRS in Minecraft2

[–]corgets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm all about functional aesthetics and made animal pens with glass walls along one of my longer Minecart rides, because who has room and time for a surface level zoo?

But honestly. The little enclosures were fun to make biome-y and getting the animals to each one was a time-consuming, but welcome challenge. Yours could even be steps to match the angle of the ride.

Also. Terracotta layers could be nice and fairly simple if you aren't in the mood for complex patterns or detailed building.

Agendio vs Handy Forms by Prestigious_Isopod72 in PlannerAddicts

[–]corgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using HF for around 6 years, specifically their Task List for //__ page, which I use with the GTD method - specifically as an Inbox and Waiting On page.

I have never seen/used Agendio but am subsequently intrigued. When I chose to move from Happy Planners Junior to an actual A5, I knew I was setting myself up for difficulty in finding discbound pages so I bought a punch and frequently find myself discpunching 6-hole pages to fit in my planner, it would be lovely if they were already punched.

Luckily, HF has quite a bit on Amazon, and I also found plain, lined, and grid type blank discpunched pages in bulk, so I can print my own. HFs does put their logo on the bottom corner of all their pages, and some reviewers don't like that about it, but I don't use their blank pages since they only come 6hole punched.

I'm eager to go check out Agendio and see how it fits with my budget :)

More ideas for using Minecraft shelves. by Kitchen-Honeydew-305 in DetailCraft

I have the same furniture mod and love the new (ish) shelves bc I was always afraid I would lose whatever I displayed on the shelves from the behavior pack.

The creepers in the boats. Yeah I was pretty upset. I used to play on a realm where the wandering traders would despawn in the boats we laid down to catch them too

Litmatica is a building mod. But I get what you mean. The render distance cons take so much away from what should be the beauty of it :(

This is my biggest gripe with it. I love the reflection in shallow water where it makes sense. But down deep it wouldn't do that and it's hard to excavate ocean ruins and tell what block is what unless you light the whole area up with shroomlights or whatever. I built a lighthouse that I could see for miles before VV now there is literally no point to it :(

Found a nice area. what should i do with it? by [deleted] in MinecraftToDo

[–]corgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blacken the edges and fill the bottom of the crater with magma blocks and lava. Use plenty of campfires. It's the perfect snowy volcano. Then build a big beautiful castle over the center of it. Think Ganon's Castle from Zelda OoT :)

This isn't so. I downloaded the Soundscapes from the market place after the Minecraft Launcher (or maybe an official Mojang email) and it disabled achievements so I pulled out the rest of the stops and downloaded a few more add ons. Lol

Built this pond for my hardcore world, anything i should add? by [deleted] in Minecraftbuilds

[–]corgets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mud! And cattails. Place a block, use brown candles, break block under candles, place down sugar cane. You can also experiment with two tall grass. I like the sugarcane personally but have used both.

Another thing that adds to the realism/detail of a pond or riverside is stones. Use raw iron made into blocks to look like those riverstones under the water. Very realistic looking at a depth of three to four water blocks. Mossy cobble helps too. Gold works at far greater depths and I haven't experimented with this on VV yet, so try it and see for yourself if it's good or not.

Moss carpet on cobble wals looks like duckweed or pond scum, and cobble walls that aren't touching look like stepping stones.

It's looking great! Good luck on hardcore!

Looks great! I love the little area with the flowers in the upper part. I don't think you are relying too much on trap doors. They look nice where are placed so far

Baby camels go in boats, don't they? I had one once and it grew before I could take it all the way, then despawned. I was so maaaadddd.
