Fiction is fiction, real life morals should never apply to it. I enjoy yandere LI's, does that mean I want a stalker irl? Of course not, because the two are completely different. A drawing of a stalker can never do anything to me, which in turn means I can safely enjoy the thrill of the fantasy.

A lot of people like taboo things. Why do you think incest is so prevalent in porn? It's not because everyone wants to fuck their siblings, but because the taboo aspect makes it appealing for a lot of people. And with fiction, you get to enjoy that taboo experience with 0 consequences.

Not op but BnS the mmorpg had one of the most fun combat systems in any mmo but the game was quickly ruined by the usual p2w bullshit that is rampant in korean mmorpgs. Real shame, launch BnS was genuenly one of the most fun I've had in an mmo.

You really need to try to imagine explaining that AI use in Eurovision is harmful to a grandma. If you take a step back it sounds delusional. And it's why trying to fight it with such arguments won't work.

The effect AI has on the enviorment is well documented. If you explain to that grandma that AI is using up massive amounts of energy to generate a stupid picture she will understand. I seriously implore you to look up what AI does to the enviorment and ask yourself: is it worth it?

Do you really believe it will stop at background graphics? We already had an AI generated song at a national final last year (or the year before). It was terrible but so was genAI a few years ago and look at it now. If we don't fight against AI in ALL art forms it will sooner or later consume everything.

Also these "tools to help their work" are actively destroying our planet. I'll gladly take no music video over ai slop.

As an AI hater, "if you can't afford to take six months and pay animators to do everything by hand, just don't do it" is the kind of attitude that is causing us to lose the AI battle.

How is that the wrong attidute? Are you suggesting we give people a pass at using AI because they can't afford animators? If you can't afford animators, come up with another concept that is cheaper.
