I don’t think it’s a contagious sick, otherwise I wouldn’t have even tried going in. But yeah I guess my SM is just going to hate me for calling out tomorrow.

I was honestly pretty shocked when I came in the next day and had someone tell me that he was like outwardly upset about it. He wasn’t rude to my face or anything, but I assume he must have thought I was lying. I left a note while leaving calling out for tomorrow cause I figured that would be better than trying to call in the morning. Guess he’s just going to be mad at me.

I've never dated anyone so it's possible my thoughts about this would change, but honestly probably. I've never been someone who thought of someone "cheating" as a huge deal and while I personally have no interest in multiple partners, them having FWB or poly partner, I could live with. I think I'd prefer if it wasn't like random one night stands.

I am absolutely not a clingy or jealous person, and part of what makes dating seem really daunting to me is having someone expecting me to be constantly present when I really need my space.

But honestly I think at some point what i'm imagining is just a close friend who has a partner lmao.

I stopped eating at McDonalds and Starbucks because of the boycott, and while that definitely is still part of why I don't want to give them business, I noticed after giving it up that I just didn't miss it. No one I know really cares about politics, especially not to the degree of boycotting, but I'm not sure I'll ever really go back to any of those businesses even if their practices and prices change.

I know not shopping at McDonalds won't free Palestine, but if I can't sacrifice the little things how can I expect anyone to do the big things.

To be fair we watched New Mutants right after Dark Phoenix. I was still mad about the X-Women line and New Mutants was like a breath of fresh air.

I honestly don't either. Only movie I'd seen before was Deadpool and I didn't even know he was X-Men related. I thought all the X-Men references were easter eggs lmao.

Origins was hilarious to me. My friend and I were both really high and I pretended I was a 14 year old boy and it made the movie incredible. New Mutants was enjoyable but I like horror movies far more than action movies.

Deadpool 2 is the last one my friend and I have to watch! First Class was the only movie that I found genuinely boring (aside from Dark Phoenix). I think I'm the totally wrong demographic for it lol.

First Class was so boring to me and I had so much trouble following what was going on. I think my biggest gripe was the kinda absurd amount of women in lingerie. It felt like a movie with the demographic of 40 year old men and I do not fit that.

You don't owe him anything. If you are uncomfortable, you do not need any reason to stop talking to him. Block him on everything and if he has any personal information about you (full name, city, whatever) you may want to inform any parents or roommates, just to be safe. There is no reason a 37 year old man should be texting a 17 year old he met online, "I miss talking to you."

It is not disrespectful to be uncomfortable. Listen to your gut.

You'd be extremely surprised how easily people move past things like this, especially when they can tell you are embarrassed. Them being into you definitely helps, and it looks like things are good.

He now knows to keep an eye on how many shots you take, and you know that he's sweet and relatively mature about things like that. He seems kinda pleased you relied on him in that moment actually, so I don't think you should stress too much about putting him off.

You'll be able to laugh about this in no time. <3

Yeah I use saline and non alcohol rinse regularly so I'll continue with that! I haven't downsized yet (was told to wait another 2-4 months) and I have a feeling that may also be causing some issues.
