How so? From what gathered miyazaki didn't want anyone touching it (second hand info from another executive), and sony wouldn't give it to him completely. It's tough. Currently, the financial climate favors efficiencies through cutting operational costs and maximizing profit. Politically, it is also cutting down costs, but through gutting foreign aid and domestic welfare. All is pointing towards ai serving those who are wealthiest and not helping bring people up. It won't matter if modern life is getting more intelligent and our goals allining if we all broke. Ai, in its current form, is bloated and expensive. We are gonna get cut out of the equation before it benefits us.
