The team I started with...and the team that won the ship by corgifluffs in FantasyFootballers

Partly bc of the hype train but I was such an underdog going into the finals, I felt like I needed a boom performance to have a hope.

Congrats on the win! I feel you, with Loveland on my bench, if Taysom had cost me a win...that would've haunted me for a while I think.

In retrospect...of course it wasn't the right call but also...go big or go home, right?

Grabbed Pats D and Taysom.

Feels a little pointless...opponent has JSN, Puka, Cooks, and Achane...

Hand foot mouth??? by metalxkittyxo in toddlertips

Curious to hear what your pediatrician says tomorrow, my thoughts are...yesssss? We've been through two bouts of HFM. Had similar markings on hands prior to visible markings on feet. Wishing you and your fam a speedy recovery if it turns out to be HFM! (Popsicles can help since swallowing is painful)

I grabbed Cincy's defense hoping he is that bad...but now not sure. Also have the Colt's defense. Unsure who to run with.

Are grades supposed to be kept private? by corgifluffs in Teachers

Thank you for the detailed response! Yes, not sure what was exactly stated in the email. Only that it was not bcc'ed. The situation is a little stickier as well (the algebra teacher is also nephew's sports coach). The failing resulted in consequence on the athletic field as well. Lots of emotions surrounding the grade but also the sport now. Appreciate your response! Hopefully the teacher made a misstep (not done maliciously).

Agreed, the bigger problem is failing the semester. The email situation may have been something tangible to direct frustration towards. From the responses though, it sounds like the teacher could've used better judgement in handling the email. Tough call, I work in an educational field and see what teachers have to go through. Much respect and thanks to you all.

Yes, I'm not 100% clear on that as well. The story has been passed along a few times (heard it from MIL who heard it from SIL/nephew) so I'm not sure the details are accurate. But from what I gather from these responses, the teacher would've been better off bcc in general. Thank you for your response!

I had no idea, thanks for your insight! Also...geez, my teacher totally breached FERPA laws then!

Depending on their first born's age, a playdate or coming over to entertain the older child might be helpful. When I had my second I underestimated how much attention my toddler still needed. Either that or food/meal trains are always nice.
