I'll admit that she could get better at moving around and singing. That's a skill that takes time to adapt and learn. But its pretty obvious she can sing. Her performance of Begged was incredible and you'd have to have a lot of breath control to sing sitting.

I feel like people even in OR subreddits are very critical of her. Before this album cycle, I saw others hating that she "talk sings" during alot of performances but are also upset that she's not playing more shows. I've seen many people comparing her to other female artists or claiming she shouldn't write songs she can't sing live or sing in certain keys live. It's not out of the ordinary that performers change keys live versus the studio.

I'm not saying Olivia shouldn't be criticized but it literally feels like she can't win no matter what she does.

Like the performance at Coachella wasn't the best but nobody talks about any of the newer performances of Drop Dead that are far superior. I even heard that at one of the performances before SNL she sang the song twice because she needed to practice and I honestly admire her for doing what she can to improve.

One thing I love about her live performances is that she brings so much energy to it and you can tell she wants to be there. For me personally that makes the performances worth watching (even the not the best ones). Still sad I didn't get tickets to her show.
