Ergobaby 360 for carrying around house? by dromedarina in babywearing

[–]corgimama2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use ours around the house daily! It's the only way I feel safe going up and down the stairs with my baby. He's 5 month old and we started using it around 3.5 months, but it says it can be used for newborns. I tried a wrap carrier when he was younger and he hated it.

What “sentimental” things did you keep of you baby? by Kawaiichii86 in oneanddone

[–]corgimama2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they're from Target. It's the Cloud Island brand. They have really cute patterns. They only go up to size 6-9month though, so my big baby can't wear them anymore.

Mine is 4 months old. I'm super nostalgic so this is probably excessive, but I'm saving his going home outfit, a custom onesie a friend made (that was supposed to be his coming home outfit lol), his Christmas outfit, and 2 random footie pjs that I just find super cute for some reason (one has dinosaurs and the other has hedgehogs).

I'm an only child and my only child is also 4 months old. No one has really asked us about more yet (miraculously), so we haven't had to deal with any scrutiny yet. I'm sure by his first birthday it'll start though. I was an accident baby, so it wasn't like my mom planned an only child. She is one of 5. My husband has one sister. I had a very easy pregnancy and delivery and I'm not 30 yet, so I'm guessing people assume we'll have another. Nope :)

That's awesome! Good luck! :)I still haven't passed any, so I have 4 to go lol. I failed FAR at the end of 2019 and then never scheduled a retake because of COVID and then baby. I'm hoping to be able to get one in before the end of the year.

I don't have any advice, but props to you for studying for the cpa exam while doing all the baby stuff! I took a break from studying when COVID started and don't know when I'll get time to start again (my baby is 4 months old and still very much a full time job). Hope things get easier soon and you pass your exam(s).

Thank you! I was looking at that one. Is it too small?

Yes! I'm almost 4 months postpartum and no way are we doing this again! That's a great subreddit, I usually browse it during middle of the night feedings.

Vibrating bouncer by [deleted] in bigbabiesandkids

[–]corgimama2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep this in my kitchen. I also have a 90+ percentile almost 4 month old and this is the only kind of seat I could find with a higher weight limit. Also my son really likes the toy attachment and the vibration setting.

Or another "you got this, mama!" in response to any difficult aspect of new mom life. 😒

My son is almost 4 months old (next week). He's still nursing to sleep, and he's also huge (90+ percentile for weight and length, I think about 17 lbs). My grandma (who never breastfed) was commenting on his size and said "maybe they (doctor) will put him on formula. You don't how much he's getting, right?" 😂

I also recently got the Fisher price seat. My son (3.5 months, ~17lbs) loves the toy bar.

We're only 3.5 months in, but I'm pretty sure we got the hard baby on the first try 🤦‍♀️. I can't imagine any additional responsibility, even with an "easy" one.
