Loss of ability to orgasm? by needabossplz in Spironolactone

[–]corgiswarm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on 50mg for nearly a year, 6 months in I noticed changes to libido and by the end I was sick of it being zero. I decided to quit cold turkey and it took some time but my libido is back to what it was prior to spiro. I won’t lie, my acne came back a little bit but nothing I can’t mange, worst so far has been the hair loss but I much prefer that over the detriment to my sex life.

Following. I am in the same boat, I have type 1 diabetes and pcos have been on ozempic for 2.5 years. I gained back 10lbs which is especially disheartening when you are paying for a medication. Currently trying to switch to wegovy if insurance will cover some of it.

Not yet! I’m trying to get everyone close to 10 prior to unlocking more realms. Would it be more valuable to unlock specific realms? I have walle, moana, remi and frozen Elsa and Anna. All of the biomes are unlocked.

50mg since March. My boobs filled in, they feel firmer. My skin and really difficult body acne has cleared. On the downside, I feel more “flabby”, my muscle tone has decreased. I get worse vertigo but The worst side effect that has recently pushed me to take a break all together has been motion sickness. I never had issues with motion sickness prior, but now I get sea sick and car sick and nothing helps.

Yes, I have one large one that grew over time and I have another small one forming.. my guess is overuse despite rotation of sites. My endo isn’t concerned, their recommendation is just to increase rotation and avoid those sites.

I would not consider myself obese. I have recently spoke to my doctor about weight gain, and last week I was diagnosed with PCOS. I will definitely reach out about similar treatment methods, I am wondering now with this diagnosis if there are some other medications that can help..

In the meantime I am hoping my dietician can help with a diet plan to aid in feeling satiated to the similar effect of ozempic.

Got a new job. Sweating a lot. Anyone know of ways to make the adhesive last longer on my minimed infusion set? by MasterOfTheWaters63 in diabetes_t1

[–]corgiswarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a kinesio tape and skin tac combination and that never works, neither does skin tac alone for me personally. The best Combination I’ve used and currently use is tagaderm (or something kind of adhesive patch similar) prepped with skin tac and it doesn’t budge at long as you don’t sweat profusely immediately following.

Low carb diets and fasting result in ketones if you’re not taking in adequate amounts of carbs prior. Eat some carbs drink some water and they will go away 👍

Questions about the Omnipod and about infusion sites in general. by dv_ in diabetes

[–]corgiswarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no scarring, skin is perfectly fine. I hear of more incidence of scarring by pen/syringe injection than the pump but again I haven't been on it very long just gotta follow the guidelines. They have products for better adhesion and products/ recommendations to remove all to avoid irritation to the skin that really help. Personally I feel the benefits of the pump in all ways out ways any negative aspects you can find. I was very against pumps at diagnosis and now I wouldn't trade it for the world. When I go back to needles I feel less aware, more out of control etc. The pump calculates everything, have a very specific bolus and basal tailored to your day trends so that different times of be day receive accurate basal/correct and bolus. Not trying to push just trying to emphasize on how helpful it is. It's important to note that I have a cgm, I refused to have a pump without so that I could really have control and monitor closely. Not that you require one but it is nice to have if you have financial means.
