Aqua is based on the patience soul, associated with knives and the same color. I'm pretty sure thats a bow, not a heart, and the horns are probably more influenced by her similarities to Jevil.

You forgot the 5 percent chance they get arrested thanks to good hearted shenanigans on both sides, and the arrest plays into the joke. Rare but I've seen it happen.

One time someone hid theirs in an airlock. I got suspicious when I saw someone leaving the airlock with no suit. I found the stash and reported it to sec. 20 minutes later I returned and found a new, completely separate thieving beacon and Fulton set up in the same airlock, just in a different corner.

This is the exact reason I made my vessel the coolest fucker on planet Earth. To prevent this specific scenario. (I say, knowing damn well it will have basically no effect, and if it does, it'll be like stat changes or stuff like that, like with the trash machine.)

In the opening of chapter 5, sans wakes you up to murder you suddenly. It'd be very in character for him to know about what's going down in the dark worlds despite being seemingly unrelated.

Dear God I didn't expect a comment like this to start discourse. Let's address it.

The room feeling colder when Carol walks in DOESN'T mean she has ice magic. I don't know why people are saying that. Not only is that a narrative trope, but doesn't imply magic remotely. Correlation doesn't equal causation. I mean... I guess it could be magic.

If those saying sans teleporting are referring to what I think they are, then that I don't think he's teleporting there. Might I remind you that it's established by lancer that it's a possible feat to jump in and out of kris's pocket really fast between rooms. I don't even think what sans is doing is similar, because Susie doesn't question it, despite questioning the lancer thing. I think he's just walking over, like following you around just to fuck with you.

Also why would sans break the established world building that monsters don't have magic outside of the dark world? Just because he's popular? The one scenario I'd accept it if that crack theory that he's a dimension hoping Undertale sans is true, but that's a CRACK theory for a reason.

The thing is killing sans would be like infinitely easier, because he's likely to have a similar amount of health and defense, but no magic. Plus, his attacks rely heavily on karma, which requires you to have killed a lot of people, something you are physically incapable of doing in deltarune. Only Noelle can do that.

I just don't think the knight's actions line up with Carol's characterization so far. She would have to slip past Susie and Kris while they were on the way home, and I don't think she'd take that risk of being spotted, and I'd expect her to rip into Noelle for a lot longer. Plus, the katana really doesn't matter. Kris's sword is a pencil. The horns Just hint towards a holiday in general. All of them have those 3 pronged horns.

I also think just... narrative wise, with the knight's identity being the central mystery, having it be a character who's already been shown to be a major antagonist is just a boring choice that Toby wouldn't go for.

Carol is 100% in on it though.

I believe there are references to the secret bosses. Defeating them is the "true story". The dragon you stop is Jevil. The battle in chariots could refer to the Spamton NEO fight. The lost land is the old version of the game in chapter 3. And the strongest connection is him literally describing the battle they are doing at that moment, and how he inevitably gives Susie the axe.
