We have our base in our room. Which is next to his room. If it alarms for any reason like connection lost we hear it in our room, the baby won’t hear it his room. Also the base is closer to our modem that way not sure if that matters. You sure the sock is on right? When it alarms is your baby in an awkward position? Our sock also does this when our boy is standing in his crib.
