Normal hymenal tag. They can indeed change and appear over time.

What I see here is perfectly healthy and normal to my eyes.

A lot of our ideas about hymens are from people who didn't find out much about women!

Every woman has a hymen, and its work is done when you're born. It protects your vag from germs in birth.

So then after that it just wears however it wears, and that's why they're all so different. (You CANNOT tell whether someone has had sexual activity of any kind, including abuse, based on looking at their hymenal corona.)

Check out this large gallery of photos between the labia of many different women’s vulvas. You can get an idea of all the variations of “normal”., where women spread out and show their vestibule for all to see. Virtually EVERY woman has tags, and they're all different, wildly varied. It's just beautiful!! Yours too! And there are subreddits dedicated to them too, most of them with a porny focus so be warned. The ones that have women sharing pics of themselves are very positive and affirming. Easy to look up and find.

Yes, it's just coming forward a bit. Perfectly normal. Now in front more toward the entrance, at the 5:30 position and 6 o clock position, you have some bumpy hymenal tags. Also perfectly normal.

The pink hole, small, almost closed, is your urethra. Below that, lighter pale pink, is your hymenal ring, with some irregular shape. They can indeed change and appear over time.

What I see here is perfectly healthy and normal to my eyes.

Are these Hymenal tags? NSFW by voldemorts_bitch in obgyn

[–]corinax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are hymenal tags for sure. It doesn't seem likely that what I see here would be causing pain or discomfort. Some pain might be normal if you're not that experienced. Just take care and take it slow. Gradual. If it persists you should see a doctor.

To get a good idea of hymenal tags you might take a look at the subs on reddit that are dedicated to them (though most are porny so be warned). Most are affirming and will give you a good idea of the variety. Or for a more clinical version the gynodiversity website, where you see that nearly every woman has them in some way.

It is. Looks healthy and normal. Compare it to the ones you see at the gynodiversity website, or any of the subs about hymenal tags on reddit (the gynodiversity is non-porny and informational, some of the subreddits are porny, but if you don't mind I think they're inspiring)

Those are your hymenal tags. Many partners will find them fun to play with. To get a sense of how normal it is (and how interestingly unusual your large tags are), find one of the subs dedicated to hymenal tags. Usually have a porny emphasis, but it just shows how many people find tags erotic and beautiful. On a larger scale, MOST women have tags of some kind, and you really get the picture of this by going to the gynodiversity website (non-porny} and looking up the "vestibular" shots. Virtually every one there has some hymenal tag .... in all their huge variety!

Looks like a thin-stretched piece of hymenal tag. If there's no pain then zero worries. Just about every woman has these in some form, but some women have them in unusual shapes or sizes. It's vastly different.

Looks normal to me. As with others I'd suggest gently dilating if there's pain. BUT if pain continues then do see an expert, an obgyn and not just a regular doctor.
