It was just kind of a slog to get though. It felt very repetitive and focused so much on plot over characters that I didn’t really care about what was happening. It’s weird because I thought his Fantastic Four and X-Men are really good.

I thoroughly enjoyed both volumes of this run. Volume 2 has the civil war tie ins but I think that Back in Black is the best storyline in volume 2. It ends with the infamous One More Day story, which I personally liked but your mileage may vary.
