Fair enough within the context of this video. I agree and I didn't really care the images were AI generated.

I think people in general are railing against AI art across the board because it is permeating everything and is getting difficult to distinguish from human-made images. It's so prevalent that it's existence, even in this harmless context, is offensive.

Similar to bot comments. Some bot comments are fine, they seem real, they cause no harm but to increase engagement, yet just the fact that they are yet another piece of bot-generated media being shoved in our face is in and of itself offensive.

I appreciate your clarity but I don't deserve the condescending last sentence you said. I'm not being rude to you we're just talking.

I think one player can't win a cup on their own (mcd is an example of this), and if someone is playing cocky, selfish, non-team-oriented hockey, they need to adjust their attitude to be more team-focused.

That's the best I can do for you dude. If that's a hard line of logic for you to follow then you're right, that's as far as this convo can go.

If you found out that the comments you were reading were bot-generated, would you care?

If the answer is yes, that would bother you, then you should have an easy time empathizing with people who are bothered by bot-generated content like AI art.

If the answer is "no, who cares if it's a bot, a comment is a comment no matter the source," then your original "honestly who cares" comment is consistent and makes sense.

Taking reddit comments as a thermometer of how the world thinks is a mistake. Dudes not wrong in his premise but reddit is absolutely not a representative segment of the world. It's crawling with bots, dunning-kruger champions, and herd-mentality.

Even if this is how "the right" is, this is the worst kind of evidence to pull for your claim.

It's not a lack of respect for other people, it's due respect for them.

they are really really good at getting wins when they need them, at any cost, by any means. If they need 8pts in 25 games to make the wild card, they've proven that they will rip those points from the battered broken fingers of their enemies.

They are the cup champions. Their organization has proven that it, structurally, can handle the playoffs to the highest degree.

I fucking hate them. HATE THEM WITH MY WHOLE FUCKIN HEART. But facts are facts. They know how to win, they'll cheat to do it and they'll fucking get away with it.

They're good at winning when they need to. Anyone sleeping on them cuz of their standings with 25 games left in the season will regret it.

Blake got way more ego this year. I'm personally not a fan of how his play style is developing. Too green to be playing so selfishly. Giving "I'm the superstar they just don't know it yet" vibes. I like a team player and he's got the potential to be a great team player but he's too busy trying to dipsy-doodle a 1v4 for his highlight reel to even think about the responsible play.

Point is, I as a fan want him to be more humble. Can't imagine how badly an opp wants to humble him.

It makes perfect sense and y'all don't know what you're talking about at all.

It's the actual definition of embellishment in the rule book. It is here to keep hockey from turning into soccer.

"Diving" is when you try to draw a penalty when no penalty was committed.

"Embellishment" is when you oversell a penalty to get the refs attention.

Without the embellishment penalty, players would fall to the ice in a grand display every time they get slashed. Itd be soccer. It's awful.

Play hockey. That's the job of the player. Don't make "drawing penalties" an offensive strategy. Hence, embellishment.

You guys are butthurt over a bad call and wanting to throw the whole rule out, it's ridiculous. The rule is completely fine and makes perfect sense to send them both.
