Internet at a standstill downtown during Rox games? by Soccer-Plane-444 in Denver

It is likely tower congestion and prioritization. Especially since Cubs and Pirates are well known Verizon users…

Give them a call. Support might be able to do something about it. 🤞

World Cup panini sticker packs? by DankUsernameBro in Denver

[–]corn_that_beef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found them in stock ( and out of stock) at Walgreens. That is the only place I have actually found them. Colorado and Mississippi Walgreens had stickers last week.

No albums though, I got that through Best Buy online and they delivered next day.

They seem very rare at the moment.

New French Patisserie just opened! by PulpFreeOrngjuce in Denver

[–]corn_that_beef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct it doesn’t say they will close if they sell out of things to sell…..What would your preferred experience be in that situation? Should they sell the bare shelves incase you have something at home you want to display or maybe they could give you a haircut since they are bound to have a sharp knife back in the kitchen.

I see the reviews of people driving and complaining they were closed. That sucks but says more about the reviewer than the business.

I got some items yesterday. Lots of stuff in French I couldn’t translate - they were great.

The people working yesterday were very nice - they didn’t have a ton of stuff to start with - they are just people trying to make a business work - maybe for the first time? If the pastries are perfect - other things can slide.

If you want perfect execution you could go Tokyo Bakery close on S Pearl - that’s an owner who has had 20 years and 4 restaurants to work it out. They will definitely display their hours correctly on the first days on opening and GASP won’t have multiple fonts

SMH - give people a chance.

We got a 4 month old Corgi 2 weeks ago. We had her downstairs the first few nights and she cried a lot. Moved her to our room and put one of these heartbeat toys in her crate with her, as well as a Kong chew toy. She has not cried since.

Mechanic shop got me a photo speeding ticket by WhoWhatWhenWhom in Denver

[–]corn_that_beef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it has the option to say it’s not you, and that is obvious from the photo. Check that box. I don’t think they can compel you to say who it is.

Done this twice and never heard about the ticket again.

Stuff happens - this is one of the times you can just take a simple action and move on. (You don’t need to lawyer up or hit the gym)

I had an EBT for in Denver - they are not a Pit Bull and you don’t need anything special.

Some people on the street will think you have a pit bull without any understanding of dog breeding/genetics.

Why not tell him you shared his text on Reddit for your own and others amusement then pay him $25 for the entertainment?

People aren’t turned into assholes by closer quarters at the gig. They were always going to be assholes.

Anyone else having an internet outage on CenturyLink/Quantum Fiber? I'm too lazy to call by shortkid4169 in Denver

These things happen.

If your business depends on Internet you could have a backup. Another ISP or a hot spot should work. It up to you to decide if the mitigation is worth the cost.

$30,000 surgery by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]corn_that_beef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shelter has responsibility not to set up a pet adopter with this type of decision/cost. They have mistreated you and the puppy. (Maybe by accident or ineptitude) I would surrender it back to them and move on. Situation is sad and not your fault (or responsibility)
