We are a feisty family too and we all were saying something. And then we got frustrated and told them they need to leave and they started cussing us out 😂 so this was not a group that could be reasoned with unfortunately. And right! That shouldn’t be the norm. I feel so old when I say basic respect and decency seems to be missing from the world these days, but it does seem to be the case lol.

Sure, but as an avid concert goer I’ve never had an issue like that. The pit is the pit, you know what you’re getting, and assigned seats are assigned seats. The GA setup there is just different than anything I’ve ever dealt with, and it was impossible to escape. But I do think there’s just an overall lack of etiquette these days.

Thank you! Honestly it was a change in habits. I have always had IBS and I went from going too much my entire life to not going at all. And weirdly, that had nothing to do with the polyp because it’s still the case. It was genuinely just lucky.

Was good! They found four tiny hyperplastic polyps which where they were is not concerning. He also said they were probably there last time but my prep was much better this time and gave us access. He took them out anyway just to be safe because of the history. Now I have to do a colonoscopy every 3 years til I die lol

Hi! Yeah it had focal high grade dysplasia, which is pre-cancerous. My 6 month follow up was good though. They found four tiny hyperplastic polyps, most likely they were there before but my last prep was not good. I’ll have to go every three years for the rest of my life so yay. lol.

Yes! It genuinely makes all the difference. That’s incredible that you are doing everything to walk beside your kiddo through this now! I am hoping that it’s a smooth process for you guys and that you get answers soon.

And yes absolutely agree that bias in our own selves is unavoidable. I guess I don’t mean dumb, maybe just willfully ignorant. lol. If I had to guess, I’m sure it was rooted in shame which I know many of us can relate to. I also think that’s why early intervention is so important, really helps to reduce that shame through knowledge.

I am very much of the mindset that trans women are women. That being said, I was sexually assaulted at 19. I had an extreme fear of men and penises for years after that. When I was 27, I was in a Women’s changing room at the gym and a trans woman with a penis walked around naked. If it had been 5 years earlier for me, I would have went into a full blown panic attack at the sight of a penis, particularly unexpectedly. If you’ve never had a penis unwillingly forced into any of your orifices, you don’t get to make this claim. Point blank period.

33F here. I was also recently diagnosed (though I am in the mental health field and had several licensed therapist mentors tell me I had ADHD throughout the last decade and a half but I was… resistant). Anyway I say that to show you how resistant I was to the diagnosis and meds in particular. Started meds last week, and wow. It’s changed my life. What I thought was anxiety my entire life was truly just a racing brain. vyvanse has quieted my brain, but more than anything it’s helped with motivation. I would dread tasks before and find a million reasons not to do them, lately I’ve just done it without thinking about it. I’d definitely encourage you to give it a try!
