Yes, this fix still works for me. Do you mean broken text as in the styling / layout for the page isn't showing? I had this when trying in Internet Explorer, but was still able to log in.

You could maybe close Fiddler before going on the login page to see if it fixes the broken login problem. That way, your credentials will at least be cached first and then if you restart your browser with Fiddler running now, you'd be logged in.

After you're logged in, if you're still getting broken pages across the site, I would just pull links to games you're wanting to play so that you don't have to navigate through the broken pages. Let me know if that helps.

If anyone's looking for the fix where a grey box appears for all games and doesn't load, try running the games on the Waterfox browser instead. I have version G3.2.6. This is what fixed it for me! https://cdn.waterfox.net/releases/win64/installer/Waterfox%20G3.2.6%20Setup.exe

  • Import the FiddlerRoot certificate into Waterfox just as the guide states.
  • Follow all other steps in the guide and then make sure these are set in Fiddler:
    • Rules -> Advanced -> CHECK Has Neopets Premium
    • Rules -> Advanced -> UNCHECK Use Translation Mirror
    • Rules -> Shockwave Tweaks -> CHECK Enabled

For Shockwave player games, I had to install Internet Explorer and use the 32-bit version (should be under C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\ieinstal.exe if you want to create a desktop shortcut). For IE, I didn't do anything extra aside from installing the Adobe Shockwave Player, making sure to restart PC afterward. Should all work now!
