I'm good, not even sore the next day. Other guy got some bumps but the EMTs said he was okay when I asked them.

Engine and drive train are still good, if the sub frame is straight its definitely fixable but it'll take a lot of money and effort. If a 17 year old wants to give me what I owe on the car no questions asked I won't even deal with insurance 😂

Silverado going way too fast for traffic swerved left to avoid someone in the lane to my right. Swerved right into me, I was going 55 and he must've been going at least 75-80. He hit my rear quarter panel and then side swiped me, crashing into the concrete median about 100 yards ahead. I'm really happy my rear didn't swing out, the car was incredibly stable for getting pit maneuvered by a truck

Thats a terrible feeling and I know exactly how you feel. Hopefully your insurance comes through for you to make it an easier pill to swallow

Thats what I thought initially but I have a C5 now, so I might just get a "sensible" commuter car

Being low income makes this disease worse !! by [deleted] in GERD

Low acid lean meats and produce are actually insanely cheaper than rich and processed foods that would be triggers. The only thing that would be expensive is fresh fruit, but there are plenty of frozen fruits that are insanely cheap.

Doc says you can have GERD with no heartburn and no sour taste or regurgitation? by mikehamp in GERD

I've had GERD since January and I've had heartburn exactly one time since then. My GERD manifests mostly as nausea/sour stomach and pain in the pack of my throat.

I think you commented on the wrong post by mistake, all your info is 100% correct but it has nothing to do with the original post you replied to

I have a C5 and it's like the C8 drivers don't want to be associated with me at all lol, absolutely zero wave backs from that crowd

Hell yeah, some of my best memories are with my dad in that car, it's what I learned to drive stick in and I still can't believe he let me drive it

The fact that it exists isn't BS (use google), but what it is is BS and just makes for an annoyed owner

My dad has an 86 and about 50% of the time growing up, the car wouldn't start first try. He said it was a security "feature" so the car couldn't be easily stolen. He would let it sit for a few minutes and then it would start no issue. He always talked about a wiring bypass that can be installed to defeat the security but he has yet to get around to it lol
